Location. Space.

fireplace didn't work. Sort of a sewer smell in the bathroom. No grab bars on the tub. Had difficulty getting out.

The room was newly renovated and very comfortable. It was quiet even with construction happening upstairs. The bed was a bit too soft for me, but others may like it. The big soaking bathtub was great. We booked massages, and they were terrific.

The fridge in the room was too small to hold more than a couple bottles of water. Our restaurant leftovers didn’t even fit. The so called wellness center was a bit of a joke. Small, lukewarm hot tub on the deck and a small steam room. Not really a spa. Needs upgrades. The breakfast was a complete joke. Not even worth it.

I have zero complaints! Everything was perfect.

The location was great! We were close to the beach, nice restaurants, coffee houses, and Hearst Castle; which we visited. The hotel was lovely, cozy and had a great room with a fireplace, leather sofas, king size bed, mini fridge, iron and ironing board, very roomy bathroom with a jacuzzi tub with good jets, a shower, and A/C. Parking was underneath the hotel, elevator in parking to get to our room, and they have wine on tap in the lobby. I didn’t use it, but for anyone else warning a glass of red or white wine it’s a nice convenience. We will return.

light switch was hard to find in room. no directions given of the hotel. would of loved to of had a brochure with a map of board walk and area favorites to go see.
