Great location right across from Moon Stone beach. Wine tasting available and small breakfast delivered to your room. Friendly staff and very dog friendly. At check in we received a few items for our dog which was a great touch.

The staff is very friendly over accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area. We ft very pampered by all the attention to detail to ensure you didn't have to want for anything.

Location was great. We love Moonstone Beach and tried this hotel as a change from one we had stayed in the past.

Continental Breakfast was OK. It was pretty light and we had to wait until 8 for coffee.

When we discovered that my husband would not be able to step into the shower in our standard room, the staff were kind enough to let us move into a handicapped room as soon as it was available. Extra work for them, but no extra charge for us. - We don't travel with our dogs, but really enjoy watching the dogs that are staying at the Inn. - Most of all, we enjoy sitting outside at Cambria Shores Inn- The landscaping is nice. We sit on Adirondack chairs and watch the ocean, which is just across the street.

The breakfast basket did not serve our needs, as it came later than we wanted, but mostly, we preferred to go out for breakfast where we could get hot food and a good amount of protein to start the day. For those who want a light, leisurely breakfast, the basket has a nice selection of breads, fruits, and juice, complete with plates, glasses and cheerful cloth napkins.

The water pressure was really low but it is understandable with the shortage.

Though it’s cute they deliver breakfast to each room in a picnic basket, the food isn’t all that different from standard tasteless hotel “continental” breakfasts. Also the coffee is horrible. Truly the worst. But you don’t come here for the food. It’s the vibe, location, and friendly staff

Loved the view and that it was pet friendly. Oh and the brownies were great.

I have stayed here many time always a great visit They bring breakfast baskets to your door in the morning this trip the baskets showed up pretty last from what I have experienced before This trip it was 8:30-9 am. I had a tour at heart castle booked in the morning and was pushed for timing waiting for our basket. before it was delivered by 7 am. Hopefully they can correct that issue so people can get going into there day

Beautiful location and well kept. Very dog friendly!

The property itself was great, it was the bed that was awful. no we didn’t complain and just pushed through. We are elderly and didn’t want to move all our stuff to a new room. The mattress was lumpy and felt and sounded like you were sleeping on an air mattress.

We loved that the hotel is just steps away from the ocean. the view is incredible and the service was great! The room was clean, had a fireplace, and the parking was perfect! they are also dog friendly!

Absolutely immaculate and charming! We booked here because of the reviews on Booking.com. When we got our of the car in the parking lot, my 15-year old daughter was delighted by the view and closeness to the beach (directly across the street); she is not easy to impress! (See first photo.) The room was charming, with so much attention to little details. There was a gas fireplace in the corner, perfect for ambiance on a chilly winter day, and they provided glasses, dished, a small microwave, a refrigerator, in-room coffee, and extra fuzzy blankets. The lobby served cookies from 3-5, brownies at 5, and we receive vouchers for the adults for wine tasting at the on-site cafe. The beds and linens were comfortable, the room and bathroom were well-appointed with good attention to decorating detail, and the morning breakfast baskets were delightful and delicious. The staff was communicative and friendly both prior to and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again. I was a little apprehensive about the smell and cleanliness of the room since the "pet-friendly" aspect was so emphasized, but there was no evidence whatsoever that any pets had been in our room.

What would have been better is if our stay had been longer. We arrived at sunset, but I wish we'd arrived sooner and stays fro multiple days. There is much more to do in this area than we had thought. Note: the restaurant and dining options in Cambria and San Simeon are quite pricey. I would recommend bringing at least snacks or sandwich items unless your budget is unlimited. Most places had entrees (even just burgers) from $17 to $25.
