Big room, big tv, big bed. Nice staff on the front desk and in the restaurant and great location for my trip.

The room was incredibly noisy, beside both the elevator and the ice machine that kept me awake through my heavy-duty earplugs. Wifi was a nightmare to connect to, had to contact tech support twice before I could get setup and it took about 30 mins to get sorted which wasn't ideal.

Staff was very unfriendly and abrasive including the manager who lied when he said he would process my refund immediately. It's been almost a week and I've yet to receive it, which tells me he did not process it immediately.

We had a big event and things seemed to go smoothly. I liked the bathroom products, I even looked them up to buy.

The pillows suck. Others agree. The carpet on room 501 is not stretched properly. I tripped a few times. Other than that, fine. Oh, why are you still wrapping disposable paper cups in plastic film? Having a membership requirement to get wifi is annoying.

Location was good, and the nearby Chinatown was delightful.

- Staff seemed very confused whenever I interacted with them - Surprise deposit that was deducted without even explaining this would happen - Wi-Fi is not actually free, but paying can be avoided by signing up to some program (a bit iffy) - Cheap carpet flooring in the rooms - Room keeps making creaking and other noises - Absolutely terrible water pressure in the shower - The blanket has visible dark spots when held against a light. Mold? Something else?

Excellent stay this time~)) Check in was very easy; the receptionist simply gave me the key card for the room to check in then I am in. Room was big & clean, I really liked it even on the 8th floor~! Location is central right in the heart of Oakland by 12th st & Broadway. Just have to be careful walking at night sometimes because there are barely anyone walking on the streets here. Best restaurant here especially at night is the SHOOTING STAR CAFE that opens till midnight! They've got not only Chinese delicious dishes but also some western sandwiches as well as other western food! Nice! Bed was very comfortable to stay in. The AC in the room is very useful especially during the early morning when it's very cold. Overall, very nice! Love the Christmas Tree decoration too!

The queue at the reception desk sometimes can be very long because there's not that many receptionists working there in the early mornings nor midnight. So please be prepared to wait longer.

Parking was $45/day, so better to Uber if you can.

It was perfect for us. Clean, had a view of the city, quiet, plenty of room/space. It was a very nice room. Bed was very comfortable and we slept great.
