Room smelled strongly, must be some sort of cleaning agent but smelled like strong aftershave. I think the $12 parking charge is a bit of a scam

Very clean, comfy beds and exceptional customer service.

The breakfast was a bit costly.

The rooms were nice and comfortable. Plenty of room and tables for games.

Were told we had the room for two nights but they never saved it for us for the second night so we had to leave unexpectedly.

I was Not given the room I payed for. I payed for an accessible king bed with sofa bed and Only received a king bed. My kids had to sleep on the floor. I was given a warning from the front desk because I was trying to make a bed for my kids on the floor and the neighbors stated we were to loud which we were not!

This was my second stay at Courtyard Portland Hillsboro. The rooms are always clean, the bed is comfortable, and the staff is nice and professional.

Liked the room had a balcony overlooking courtyard.

Certain things were not inclusive so I was confused when desk clerk mentioned the extra money request on my credit card which later is refunded. I took it to mean I already paid for breakfast. So perhaps a short explanation when talking about the extra toward the room is, "for example, if you order breakfast, tell cook to charge breakfast to your room and that $20 will be applied to your breakfast." People use to free continental at a lesser hotel may confuse easily

Situation, clean, comfy bed.

The welcome by the staff at the counter was cold. Smell of chlore in the hallway. The insonorisation is useless. Hearing loud steps from above and people in the neighbours restrooms, noisy noisy noisy.

The staff(especially the kitchen staff) were excellent and extremely helpful.

The fact that whomever was in the room above us were totally oblivious to the fact that other people were in the room below. From the time they checked in(after us) they stomped around, jumped up and down, and basically made our stay a living nightmare. This continued until just before midnight of the second day and picked up again at 5 am the next day. There was also an issue with the phone as we could not figure out how to use it (no one warned us) and hence, could not call the front desk to complain about the noise from the other room.

Nothing stood out. It was very mediocre verging on trashy.

Toilet seat was loose,bed was not comfortable, no attention to detail on cleaning the room,we found accumulated hair and dust and an unopened purell wipe by the nightstand. landscaping and lot needed maintenance,there was a car on blocks parked in the back lot. Unnecessary 10 dollar charge for parking with a large liability disclaimer posted above check in counter. Not a good value, will not return.
