Lots of options for breakfast and food was good

This property has 3 elevators. By checkout only 1 was working. The convention center across the street booked multiple large conferences/conventions and I don't think the property was quite prepared. It seemed the elevators malfunctioning was due to the overload of people. That being said, the staff had repairs people there and Nick, a staff member went completely above and beyond to guide guests through the staff area to help them get to the lobby to checkout.

Elevator down and no sheets for sleeper sofa.

We booked a two bedroom suite more than a month in advance. However, when we arrived at the property, they told us that they are overbooked and they cannot accommodate us in the suite and instead offered us a standard king room which is not nearly enough space for our family. I felt like they should have offered us 2 rooms for the price of the suite but they said only a king room was available. So we left and didn’t stay there. I will never stay at the property again or even consider staying there. There are other better accommodations in Winston Salem that don’t treat you like you’re a nobody and they force you to take what they have instead of what you booked and wanted. This is unacceptable. Plus the hotel doesn’t have their own parking and they don’t validate the parking ticket for a reduced rate at the garage.

Close location to my work and the breakfast was very good.

Entering the property was not well marked, very confusing. The entrance next to the parking deck is only marked with flags, there is NO sign showing entrance. The now closed entrance from the street is well marked but was locked. After we returned from my work, one young lady at the front desk did not know her surrounding area too well. Searching for a place to eat she was not very helpful.

Clean rooms, staff were cordial, nice and tried their best to find a solution to a wedding party being loud in the lobby foyers and courtyard area until 1am in the morning.

It was rude of the group of wedding event festivities owner to continue to sit and be loud until 1am in the center of the hotel where noise was echoed and kept everyone up that were trying to get sleep and enjoy their stay. We will never stay here again because we will not support an owner of this hotel who felt he could have full reign of the hotel in the middle of the night showing total disrespect for his paying customers. Rude!!!

NOTHNG Left the first day.. This place was HORRIBLE!.. mold, bathroom filthy, toe nail clippings found on furniture... horrible

The hotel was no more than a flee bag... disappointing for an Embassy Suites

Great location. Rooms are extremely nice but could be a little updated. We will definitely stay here again.

The first room was noisy and the floor vibrated because of the air conditioner. We were immediately moved to another room. Great staff!! The breakfast was great!!

Last time as handicap we parked for free. Garage needs more cleaning especially the trash cans. The bathroom in the second room needs re-caulking. The fitted sheet on one of the beds did not fit.

Cierra accused our friend of touching her inappropriately. Then Quenton came over and without calling our friendaside to question him or to tell him what he had been accused of he just asked him to leave. We had 10 people sitting with him at that table and no way did he ever touch her. What he did do was try to help her clean off the table. I would expect an assistant manager to handle a situation like that more professionally. No one was. I was happy the way this was handled. Quinton‘s comment was that he had to look after his staff, but we felt his first concern should be his guests. He took the word of his waitress rather than asking anyone at the table if they had seen anything inappropriate. The next morning, Cierra was on the serving line for the breakfast buffet, and as we came through the line, she refused to serve us. We really think you don’t need an employee like this working for you. The only reason I clicked on the frown for staff was because of this incident. Otherwise everyone was very nice and helpful.

the room was huge and the bathroom was also. very roomy! Everything was very clean.

being downtown, all night long we were woken by police sirens and ambulances (there may be a hospital close by, not sure). And then very early in the morning we were awaken by people talking/yelling on the street.

Sofa bed/cover was soiled with bodily fluids - no one from my family slept on sofa bed it was that DISGUSTING. The mattress cover/sheets on the regular bed had old blood stains on them. Bathroom had blood/dark stains on walls near toilet. The shower had rust/mold on walls. The lamps on nightstands were covered in rust - my family and I needed a tetanus shot to touch them. The AC made a LOUD noise each time it turned on. Night we checked in I called front desk about condition of room. I was told they were sold out and that "I get what I get" and he hang up.

Several items inside the rooms were in need of repair and needed cleaning. Two out of the three elevators were not working.

The breakfast was fantastic. The breakfast staff was extremely courteous. The beds were comfortable. Great location.

Parking was $20 per day. The hot tub was not in service. A good deep cleaning of the room would have been great. It was clean, but like the edges and baseboards and such needed cleaned. The pull out couch was terribly uncomfortable and the blankets we requested for it had a nasty odor that smelled the entire room, so we threw them in a corner and didn’t use them.
