The location was perfect for my husband and I since we were visiting family at the San Clemente campground. The bed and the pillows were comfortable. It was clean and modern; and we liked the view we had from our second story room. The staff was friendly and efficient.

The comforter on the bed was too heavy for summertime. The toilet paper holder was broken, but we didn't mind having to reach to the back of the toilet for toilet paper.

The room was decorated nicely and it was very clean. The location is good, you do get freeway noise but you can be in downtown San Clemente in just a few minutes which is what we were looking for. Parking was easy as well.

The mattress was way too soft, no support whatsoever. The towels were rough and old. The air conditioner was extremely loud. We booked two nights but only stayed one night, driving home seemed like a better option than trying to get through a second night of discomfort.

The comfortable bed, the surfing, ocean theme, the room’s simplicity; wood floor, rather than germy carpeting at other hotels. It was very quiet which was very important to us. We would revisit this hotel if we visit San Clemente again.

We love this property. We stay here every time we head North from San Diego for a staycation. So walkable. Love to grab lunch and go down to the beach. Walking trail along the beach (and rail tracks) is beautiful. Town is so cute and everyone is so friendly.

The Property has been refreshed lately and the finishes are very nice. The beds were comfortable and the close to downtown San Clemente.

The Frwy can be a bit noisy.

Great customer service, dog friendly, electronic keypads to enter and exit the room, updated floors and decor, walking distance to some restaurants, close 5 minute drive to downtown.

While I do think the hotel could work for certain people, I think the main purpose is are to take a shower and sleep which this hotel did not provide well. Changes that need to happen: Very poor quality mattresses and pillows, worn down bathtubs and shower heads, poor water pressure, and lack of hot water in the showers.
