At my check in time I was told I was not entitled to have a room available at that time. So I was checked in late and told I would have to pay if I wanted to checkout an hour later. I was also told that because they were short on cleaning staff I would need to search for the lady with a cart to get access to a broom and some clean towels when I called the front desk. So I would not advise anyone to stay at this hotel. If your check time is at 3:00pm it could be hours before your room is available. And according to the manager there is no need to file a complaint. The company will not do anything about it. I have stayed at other Residence Inn in the past. This one by far was the worst. Stay far far away.

This is the 2nd time that we have encountered issues with our reservations at The Residence Inn in North Charleston. They always say that they are overbooked & we have to wait for a room. ONCE AGAIN, WE DID NOT GET THE ROOM THAT WE BOOKED & HAD A CONFIRMATION FOR.
