From the dirty and unkempt exterior and entry steps to our departure, our stay was an utter disappointment. We were given a room that had one tiny window and a closet that consisted of a metal pole over a desk/table and a random office chair. There were no hangers. At one point the bathroom door had locked from the outside. Someone came up and with a paper clip to do the job and said that this happens all of the time. The bedding did not seemed to have recently been washed. The sprinkler system must have been updated and the old sprinklers were taken out of the walls leaving holes that were not fixed. We asked to change rooms but we’re told there were none but we don’t believe that was the case. Don’t expect a quiet stay as you will hear every noise. We were awakened around midnight to people coming down the hallway. We heard everything. At 7 am there was all kinds of noise. The continental breakfast which was included was awful. Besides very limited offerings it did not look fresh. A huge warning. “breakfast” is served for one hour on Sunday and only from 8-9 am due to their offering of a public brunch.

you could hear everything. the foot steps above me and the cleaning station seemed to be quite close. the room was on the warm side had to keep the window open.

Breakfast was not as expected . Coffee was weak , slim selections. Over ripe fruit.

the outside enclosed area needed to be cleaned by a blower as there was a lot of debris from the storm. Also the complementary coffee was very weak.

The location was perfect. So close to the beach. Point Pleasant and the Marina. We loved our room. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff was very friendly.

There is no designated parking (lot) for guests. Only parking is on the street. Which gets filled up quickly. We had to park around the block away from hotel. They could have had more variety for the continental breakfast. More hot foods. Eggs, pancakes or waffles, etc.

Everything. The staff were warm & welcoming (Patty & Maureen). The place was beyond cozy. my brother & sister & I enjoyed sitting out on the sprawling porch to enjoy our meals & relax. The restaurant menu was extensive, the food delicious & the service was excellent. (Thanks Rob!). This place is heaven on Earth…

The fact that we couldn’t stay longer! There is absolutely nothing negative to say - everything was perfection.

It is a beautiful victorian building with a huge wrap around porch. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us.
