Price of room was too high for what we got

the only good thing about this hotel is the location. It was right off the highway.

We ended up leaving and not staying. The hotel was a mess, it had broken windows and torn screens on the the windows. It smelled like mold in the lobby. The clerk was very rude.

The smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night because the battery was dead. The front desk just said he will have to change it later. We couldn't sleep because of it going off and they did nothing.

Rooms were clean. Property has many cameras, felt safe. Staff was great, very friendly. Beds were okay for a one night stay, but no more.

Property needs a lot of work. Building has a musty smell. One of our first rooms had a leak in the ceiling and the bed was wet, staff quickly gave us another room. Our second room, the toilet had a bad leak and sprayed a stream of water out of both sides when flushed. Bed sheet had what appeared to have a grease stain on it. Our door didn’t shut all the way, it latched and locked but had a lot of light that came though the frame- I checked it multiple times thinking one of the kids didn’t shut it all the way.

Perfect location to supper and where we needed to be. Breakfast had nice selection. Loved the little waffles. Just a little coffee and snack to get us going. Not big breakfast eaters so perfect!!

Booking.com double booked me. I had a canceled reservation that went thru after I had canceled because I needed to contact my bank to allow international transactions in order for me to pay from my bank card. As soon as the transactions were approved it went thru.....I didn't know this. Then proceeded to book the 2 rooms I actually needed. So when I got there, I had paid for 3 rooms and the property would not refund the other room because it wasn't canceled 24 hours prior. But it was and never should have been booked. Booking.com also has not resolved that situation.

The owner was rude. The toilet wasn't clean. The fridge was leaking water onto the 1980s linoleum floor. The pull out sofa appeared to have been the location of a homicide. Breakfast was cold. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! DO NOT USE BOOKING.COM!!!! This wasn't my first ordeal using this booking engine. But I'm a slow learner I guess.

We were greeted by a very lovely woman and she informed me I had accidentally double booked. She made sure I cancelled. Very nice people and very clean.

The alarm in our room went off at 4:30 am, clearly set by the previous guest.
