Clean/comfortable for 1 night.

no hot water and not a very decent selection on continental breakfast

I liked that the beds were comfortable. I live that the tv/entertainment stand and the night table both had working USB ports and plug 🔌 ins. The a/c was already going and our room was nice and cool.

The room smelled liked stale smoke and sickening perfume upon our first entrance to the room (1st floor). We always travel with FreBreze air freshener for such an occasion. The closet door would not close and stayed open just enough to make you feel like you were being watched. Creepy. My husband had to prop it closed with a pen and a booklet. What also stands out, is when I needed to shower, there was absolutely no hot water. This was about an hour before check out. I overslept my alarm due to my teething baby. So I had to “spot” wash with ice cold water, not pleasant. But what can you do when you need to wash off yesterday.

Breakfast was good.

We had no hot water. That really sucked.

The pool was down. There was no hot water for half of the stay. The breakfast ran out.

Tbh, the breakfast was fire. Honestly the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. I love my sleep and hate being interrupted but I set my alarm every morning to make it in time for breakfast. That's how much I loved it. Front desk and housekeeping was very friendly, attentive, and made us feel like we're at home. The beds were very comfortable in my room. In addition to the closet, I love that there were 4 big drawers to store our clothes in during our multiple day stay. The room, bedding, restroom, and countertops were very clean. I will definitely stay here when I travel through Pierre again.

Although I don't swim much, I might've felt a bit better after a good swim when I felt restless one night. The pool was closed for deep cleaning.

no coffee for a week, no laundry services and no pool. Stff is limited. Breakfast poor.
