Good location, old motel, clean, furniture is updated (building itself is rough), attentive staff, needed a clean, cheap room

Only had hot water sporadically, no coffeemaker

I've stayed in 3 places in last two months in Morgantown and this is the best one. Friendly staff and great location.

we went happy with our stay. i had a very early 3 hr surgery and my husband didn’t get any rest. the heat unit would bang and clang and get louder it was impossible to sleep. we won’t be using this hotel at my next visit. very unhappy

We arrived around midnight. The gentleman working was prompt and had us in our rooms quickly. It was a pleasant experience.

The sheets and bedspread were dirty. The heat didn't work in the room. The owner brought us a portable heater the temp got to close to 30⁰ F. Other than this we enjoyed our stay.

Close to the highway and dining options. Very clean.

The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors regular conversation, muted but you can still hear them.

From check-in, reception let me know right away that they don't like Booking.com reservations and that it's an inconvenience. I asked for our two rooms to be near each other, but she was already irritated that I had used Booking.com for my reservations, so in the pettiest move I've ever seen, she put both rooms as far away from each other as humanly possible. When we entered the double room, the smell of mold was so overwhelming, the phone had no dial tone (which I thought was VERY unsafe) and the HVAC unit was broken. I had to drive to the front desk to ask them to fix the phone and over the next three days, they did not. Their idea of solving the HVAC problem was to bring a small metal heater into the room. When I brought the mold to her attention, she demanded that I FIND the mold myself and show it to her. I'm no engineer or scientist, I can't possibly locate where the mold is in your hotel, but it was obvious to everyone in our party (even the people staying in our King size room on the complete opposite side of the building) that the mold in the double room was enough to choke you. We tried to get through it for two days, gave up when they refused to help us, cut our trip short and went home. They refused to refund us for the night that we did not use due to the mold. Found the mold next to the AC unit and have posted those pics here. I never write reviews, but I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing people continued to book their trips here. Beware.
