Pet friendly, excellent breakfast. Light meals are available at the bar in the evening. Located with a prime views of Mirror Lake, easy access to the parks across the road that has walkways around the lake, and a very nice balcony, the hotel was picture perfect, just as all the still photos indicated.

Having been in 22 hotels from the Atlantic to the Pacific this year, this had to be the noisiest hotel we have stayed at. A deafening live band was playing in the great room when we arrived, so you could barely hear the person at the check-in desk. The HVAC unit for the room was very noisy too, and beds were quite hard, making for a poor sleeping experience. And even though we advised the hotel in the reservations made three months earlier that one of our party had walking issues, they still managed to provide us with a room as far away from the elevator as you could get.

Breakfast options were good excellent, view of mirror lake outstanding , and location to lake placid. Enjoyed all the amenities the hotel had to offer.

There isn’t anything I didn’t enjoy about the Hampton inn.

Great location at the Mirror lake. Very nice breakfast area with the view to the lake. Tennis rackets for free. Good beds.not soft as typically are in the USA- backs Hurt. Here ok.

We had online one issue which the manager of the hotel promised to resolve with booking.com. This is concerned to a pets are allowed in the hotel and therefore some accidental cleanliness issue occured in our bed..lets say. Hotel reacted promptly and offered compensation..I am still waiting for it. I would recommend to the hotel not to accept any pets in the rooms. This would help to prevent from accidents we faced...

I like the location

extensive work being done in building long elevator wait times. Huge dumpster in front of entry door hard to pull in and out the hotel because of it. The elevator pads was up and the pads are extremely ugly and old just gives the tight elevator a creepy feeling with a hanging broken light fixture. There was banging noise coming from the work being done around the building really hard to concentrate and relax. I really wish that I was notified prior to booking of the major inconvenience brought on by the heavy construction happening around.

Amazing location, right on the lake, parking is very conveniently located steps to the hotel. nice breakfast, coffee a tea available all day as well as apples and lemon water. Very friendly staff and very clean facilities. Will definitely come back.
