Bathroom floor needed to be scrubbed not just vacuumed.

The bathroom outlet did not work so I could not dry my hair in Freezing weather. The couch had duct tape to cover a hole on the arm of the couch. The phone did not work and the heater did not work. The employee who was supposed to fill the food was very slow. There were lines of people waiting for different stations to be filled.

The facility was amazing even with it being pet friendly! Quiet and beautiful lobby area. The pool was amazing the kids loved it! The breakfast was great as well. There were enough options to please any palate. Wish I would have booked two nights instead of switching hotels for our next destination. We will be back AND this will be our new choice for accommodations when we visit.

The pool temperature was a bit cold and the room size could have been much larger. I asked the staff three times not to charge my credit card and that I would be paying cash upon checkout- they charged my card anyways.

I thought the hotel portrayed the image of a little higher end than the average hotel. The price I thought also reflected that.

Literally everything in the room was broke or missing something vital to operate. The room was filthy. My boys found a dirty bandage behind the nightstand. The breakfast was subpar for the price point.

The heater sensor in our room didn’t work well. It kept going even after it reached the desired temperature and we were basically overheating every night. Either we turned it off and froze or leave it on and be drenched in sweat.

Have always loved La Quinta and usually stay there when we visit our son in Springfield Illinois

I made my reservation and paid at the time. The morning of my reservation (January 19), an unexpected ice storm rendered our highway from Springfield Missouri to Springfield Illinois treacherous and the Missouri Department of Transportation advised against travel. I called the manager at LaQuinta and he advised me to call Booking.com which I did. They said that it was a reasonable request for refund or voucher and volunteered to contact LaQuinta. When they did not receive a reply, they advised me to contact LaQuinta Customer service which I did.

Couldn't see the letters on the soap and shampoo in the shower without glass. lol.

The staff was RUDE condescending and disrespectful one of the housekeepers thought my mother had left and called her a bitch the front desk locked my clothes in the laundry room and refused to open it so that I could get my clothes and my newborns covers out, the first room they put us in the heat didn’t work so she asked me to sit in the freezing old room and wait to see if it would come on after I explained to her that my newborn baby couldn’t be on a freezing room like that she then called the manager there were stains on the chair in the room the microwave plate was missing the room had pet hair all over everything so much that I was itching the entire stay the front lobby smelled like an old mop the smell was horrible, the breakfast area had a dirty spot in the table that was there two days in a row food area was not clean milk dispenser smelled spoiled and the spout was filthy we requested room service only to come back and the only change was the trash was emptied out no clean towels bed wasn’t made floor wasn’t vacuumed I’ve never been so disgusted in my life I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN

The advertised "breakfast" is barely..... breakfast.

In addition, the breakfast attendant needs to spend a whole lot LESS time on her phone and a whole lot MORE time restocking empty items....

Hotel seemed old and worn. Our bathroom sink was clogged when we arrived. We had to move rooms. The WiFi didn’t work the first 12 hours we were there and my husband needed it for work. Very loud neighbors.

there was no conditioner in the shower and i could not condition my hair when i showered in the morning. it ruined my morning. i asked for consideration for this problem and the agent would not do anything for me and told me to talk to the manager, but there was no manager on duty. So i tried to call and speak to the manager over the next few days and the agents that answered the phone were rude and i was never able to speak to a manager. poor customer service. bad at resolving customer problems.

Haven't stayed in a LaQuinta for a while, but used to when our kids were young. Nice to have breakfast in the morning. Standard eggs, hard boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt, cereals and fresh fruit. Large open lobby with an image of the Land of Lincoln behind the check-in desk. Large free parking lot.

Room was okay, but the thermostat did not work and the refrigerator had not been cleaned out. Filled with a box full of Taco Bell and half empty drinks. Yuck! There were lots of hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the hotel, but....they were all empty.... No one at the front desk to check out, I guess that they are short staffed. Called the operator from the front desk, which was unstaffed, and was told to just leave. Fortunately, the bill that I was sent was correct. Okay for an overnight stay on a road trip but would not recommend for a longer visit to Springfield.

Very noisy. The pool had too many for a birthday party and were so loud that people with children had to leave. People next to our room played loud music

The hotel cancelled my room without notice to me. A fraud alert was placed on my credit card the evening before my planned stay and the credit card company would not process any transactions. Not the hotel’s fault. However, I show up to the hotel at 7:00 to find my room had been cancelled and given to someone else. My issue with the hotel is that they did not attempt to contact me. How hard is it to call me or send an email notifying me that there is an issue? I understand cancelling a room when there is no way to confirm payment. I don’t understand why a (potential) customer is not worth the effort of a simple phone call or even an email.

It’s a cozy and clean hotel in a great location. Staff was welcoming and breakfast was okay. I will stay there again in a future trip.

The body wash and shampoo bottles were almost empty and we took the last out of it. Running out of soap while bathing can be annoying for anyone.
