The sheets in the master bedroom was dirty it had blood stains on it

The drive up is steep but not bad. We made it fine driving our 4-door Honda Civic. The view is truly majestic and the layout is nice. The hot tub was wonderful and the fireplace was perfect. The kitchen view was also nice and the TV worked well using our Firestick. The Satellite package provided was very basic and no DVDs were available for viewing. The beds were comfy and the sofas were new and very nice.

The house both inside and out needs some much overdue maintenance, painting etc. The hot tub light needs replacing as does the entire control panel on the tub. The grill needs a lot of work and probably could simply be replaced. The flooring is old and in need of replacement. The oven could also be replaced and the refrigerator shelves inside the door need to be replaced as well. We were also surprised how little basic spices and detergents were provided. We've rented many properties in the past and all of them have had plenty of salt, pepper, garlic powder etc. for cooking. Plenty of laundry and dishwasher detergents have also always been provided, but this was not the case with Majestic View. Other reviews have mentioned roaches. This also needs to be better addressed. We saw several very small and a few larger ones during our stay in MV. I understand that roaches do get in anywhere but this needs to be better addressed for a rental in this price range. Lastly, there is a large quantity of litter that's been accumulating in front of the screened in porch. My sister-in-law and I picked up a little while hiking around the property but one could spend at least an hour or two collecting it all. This is obviously not the owners fault but should be cleaned up nonetheless. I know I would if I owned the same property. All in all it was a nice stay. Majestic View simply needs some long overdue tender loving care and maintenance to put it in 5 * territory.

If you want to get away and just enjoy nature this place is perfect! Pool table and jacuzzi are entertaining! We went during the quarantine and We loved every minute of our stay.

If you need to be picky, the Screen porch was torn and needs fixing. The pool table didn’t have chalk but those things didn’t matter to us.
