We where in the lap of Egyptian luxury, ac worked flawlessly, view was great! The manager also did more than expected for us, she ordered food and did extra cleaning of the porch!

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The location was "colorful" with camels, goats, horses all along the street. The only problem was between the kids playing until 11, and then incessant dog barking -- even with earplugs, it was hard to sleep. Also, bring coffee and snacks with you as there is nothing provided. But the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. we were glad to have had a "local" experience so it was fun.

My stay in Cairo was like no other I have experienced before. The property was located in an excellent part of town to reach whatever I needed by foot, taxi or ride service. The view from the porch area of the pyramids of Giza was breathtaking and surreal! The apartment inside was immaculate and adorned with some of the most beautiful papyrus art pieces my eyes have ever seen. My property manger Soma is a beautiful soul and helped me immensely with whatever I needed including tours, and the proper PCR test before departing to reach home without issue. I have friends for life in Egypt now as my tour guide and friend Ahmad Hakim provided me with intellect, hospitality, and life experiences I will cherish in this lifetime and the next. My drivers during my stay; Anasosama, Nader, Mohamoud, and Waleed were extremely helpful and as kind hearted people as you could find anywhere in this world. What a transformative and eye opening experience. I will return some day for sure!!! ✌😎🤙

The apartment is very nice, all the comforts of home are provided. You can see the pyramids from the balcony, living room and two out of three bedrooms. The hostess is excellent, she arranged transportation from the airport, guides, PCR tests, everything. At one point before we arrived we thought we'd need to get booster shots while there and she even arranged that, it just worked out that we were able to get them during our previous stop. As far as location, it's a mixed bag to a degree, simply because the area around the pyramids is so lively. The apartment itself is on a side street, but you still hear a lot of human and animal activity during the night. For me, this just added to the excitement of being there, though I do generally prefer a quieter atmosphere. However, that's the trade off for being literally a stone's throw from one of the most famous monuments in the world.

I spent 2 months in this apartment, and it was as described. The view to the pyramids was great and the cleanliness of the apartment was top. The apartment is located directly with the locals, who were super friendly and always helpful. From there you see a true picture of Giza with the camels, horses and TucTucs. Nearby are enough stores to get food and also other important buildings such as exchange or pharmacies. Also on arrival everything went top, she was already waiting for us at the house and regularly asked if I was well or if I needed anything. I am very grateful for this. I felt totally comfortable during these 2 months. I would definitely recommend this apartment!

This apartment was perfect for our family for our visit of the pyramids and Cairo. We had friends stay here a month ago and they knew we’d love it too. It’s off the beaten path.a bit, and yes there are noises from dogs, cats, horses, and life in general but all of that added to the experience for us. While here we did a pyramid tour, rode four wheelers, camels, and horse carts, bought food at local shops to take back to the apartment, and enjoyed watching the lights on the pyramids from the patio in the evenings. With Uber it was always easy enough to ride into Cairo for other outings and walking past the horses 5 minutes or so brought you to shops with food and supplies. If your looking for a taste of the area in a safe clean apartment with AC and a super host you’ll enjoy your stay here.

The property was as advertised or better! Great view of the pyramids; we could watch the pyramids light up at night. It's a 10 min walk to the pyramid/sphinx entrance. There are camels and horses all along that area, which gives us a unique ambiance. Lots of little streets to walk through. The owner was very welcoming; she even baked us a local dessert one night. Thanks for the stay!!

This is my second time living in this apartment and I'm sure I'll repeat it. The views, the location, the decoration, everything excellent. The beds are comfortable. Everything is absolutely clean. To emphasize the kindness of its manager, Soma. The neighborhood is very typical, with sandy streets so that the horses can walk well. The people of the surroundings are friendly, it is enough to greet with a "Salam" to give you a smile. The neighbourhood is safe and the access to the area is guarded. A few minutes walk away you will find places that are well worth a visit, such as the restaurant Elhadaba.

Der Blick auf die Pyramiden ist wirklich atemberaubend! Egal ob im Morgenlicht, mit Abendrot oder bunt beleuchtet bei Nacht. WLAN läuft gut und der Kontakt zu Soma ist perfekt. Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung selbst ist okay, aber die Umgebung und auch der Hauseingang selbst sind für Europäer gewöhnungsbedüftig. Die Betten sind komfortabel und Platz ist auch genügend in der Wohnung. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist minimalistisch und im Bad ist nur Seife vorhanden. Insgesamt würden wir einen Aufenthalt weiterempfehlen.

First of all, our host Soma does an amazing job of keeping in touch and helping resolve any problems that come up. The apartment is a real immersion with local life. There are some issues such as night noises, including dogs barking, horses galloping, and roosters crowing. It takes time to get used to it. The local residents are very friendly, and this is a great place if you are interested in living and learning about the local life. I enjoyed it. The apartment is clean, and the view of the pyramids is great.

The area was down a small ally which I felt was a little weird, none of the tour guides could find it and the security gate was almost impossible to open from the inside once locked, but the apartment was beautiful, soma-the owner was very friendly and very helpful, I called her every day for something different and she always answered and came right over, she even gave me a phone with a direct line to her, the view was fantastic, and it wasn’t a tourist spot so it was right in the middle of the actual community and culture. Everyone was extremely friendly and as helpful as could be considering the language barrier. My experience was amazing!!

Each moment of watching the Giza pyramids from the balcony, seemed like th first time. Soma was excellent in responding to our needs. She organized one of the special evening dinner on the Nile cruise which was exceptional. Ahmed the driver was super efficient always on time. The apartment is superby located while sipping a drink at the balcony with the breathtaking Giza pyramid within full view. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening strolls into the market areas and a walk through the neighborhood. Everyone seemed so so friendly. The highlight of the trip was to stay among the locals and yet feel comfortable, safe, secure and adventurous.

This apartment is ideal for the pyramid enthusiast. Walking distance to the gates to Giza Plateau allows you to spend significant time exploring the pyramids and sphinx enclosure. This area is safe and secure. Many tours are available around Cairo and Soma will arrange for a car and guide to pick you up direct from your rental. Transportation from the airport can also be provided. Soma was very accomodating from the day I booked the suite, all through my stay and wishing me well when my time came to head home. Everything you need to make a home away from home. I would recommend this rental to anyone interested in exploring Egypt!

The apartment is completely renovated, the kitchen very well equipped. There are big cupboards in every room. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival. It has a fantastic sunset-view on the pyramids, also from the terrasse. Mrs Soma, the caretaker, is incredibly helpful and always available on extra wishes or questions. The surrounding is very egyptian with horses and camels. The apartment itself is nesteled on top and quiet.

Soma's apartment will offer you an authentic Egyptian experience. Your first impression may be a little surprising as it is in an area close to the pyramids and there is only sand leading you to the building with many people on camels and horses as well as goats in the street. When you get up to the apartment you will find a lovely air conditioned spacious apartment, very clean and comfortable. The price is very reasonable and she has all of the items you will need to settle in for a great vacation. The best part is in the evening watching the sun set from the balcony as you look out at the pyramids. Amazing. Soma can also help you find a tour company to help you get around the city. The traffic is horrendous in Cairo and guides are very reasonable. I suggest that you ask to be set up with Amany who is with World Tour to Egypt. She did an amazing job showing us amazing sites in Cairo. Soma lives near the apartment and was very available to us when we had questions. She is a lovely person and helped make our trip to Egypt a safe and incredibly interesting experience.

The view is exactly as pictured, not too far from the East/Sphinx entrance to the pyramids complex and close enough to hear/see the nightly light show if you strain your eyes and ears a bit. The location is a little hard to find at first and it's almost impossible to reach the apartment manager by phone most of the time, but the neighbors are wonderful and super helpful. We grew to consider them very good friends and look forward to coming back just so we can visit them again (though you should be aware that you may be expected to pay some of them quite a bit for their services). The apartment itself is more than adequate for most of your needs, but there are no hand towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, soap, or anything else along those lines, so it's difficult to wash dishes, etc. and you will have to use bath towels for your kitchen needs. Be prepared to buy or bring all of your own amenities. Also, the WiFi is extremely slow, when it works at all. One of our group members needed to work while on vacation and was unable to do so because the WiFi was insufficient. She ended up relocating to a hotel for the last few days of her stay (she's also a light sleeper and the street noises can be a bit loud throughout the night, so she struggled with that, as well). Checkout time was flexible, so that's a huge plus when flights leave late at night, but make sure you're prepared to pay the remainder of your reservation fee in cash or via PayPal, because no other form of payment is accepted. All in all, it was a great stay and I would come back again just to visit our new friends. And March was a great time to come. The crowds are smaller and the weather was great. Take a jacket for in the morning but otherwise the temperature was perfect! And, if you want to do any sightseeing tours, ask for Ehab. He took us to Alexandria, Saqqara, and anywhere else we wanted to go, and his rates were competitive based on my research, but he was way better than any of the other guides we encountered at the various sites we visited.

I recently booked this apartment for myself and some coworkers who were visiting Cairo. The apartment is within the shadow of the great pyramids in a neighborhood filled with lots of character and kind people. Everyone in the neighborhood was very helpful. So much to do right outside the apartment from camelback riding, atv desert rides, horseback riding, countless bazaars, great restaurants, oil shops, meditation shops and of course the Great Pyramids and Sphinx. Soma and her family are very attentive and insistent on your comfort and safety at all times. The apartment is beautiful and modern. Wonderful rooftop view and you can see the pyramids from your balcony and bedroom. Highly recommended.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay in Egypt! The apartment is located in a small village on the outskirts of Cairo (we were able to walk or take a taxi into Cairo for groceries at a Carrefour, about 1 mile away). It is a comfortable and spacious apartment with a lovely balcony complete with a table and chairs and the view of the pyramids. The people around the apartment were remarkably friendly and helpful. We hired camels to ride right outside our complex. Don't miss out on the opportunity to see all the greatness in Egypt before tourism picks up again!!! And while you're there, this is definitely the place to stay!

The view of the pyramids from the balcony is wonderful. Considering that Cairo is a city with urban infrastructure gaps, the vicinity of the apartment is not different from this. Therefore, the visitor must set his expectations having in mind this reality. Most of all, Soma, the property manager, was helpfull and supportive in every request or necessity that we had.
