Hotel pick up organisation very expensive compared to Uber

Breakfast was fine

The whole hotel had a strong smell of a cockroach repellent (Raid spray). You can't open the windows to air the room, so you have to breathe in all these toxic chemicals that they use to keep bugs away. The reception staff were unhelpful and not service-oriented. They looked at me carrying heavy bags into the lift and my room and nobody offered to help. I forgot a personal item at the hotel and they didn't bother to contact me to inform me that I left something. When I emailed the manager Tanveer Ahamed to ask if they found it - he never responded to my email. They charged me more than my confirmed Booking reservation. All requests were answered with a template "No", the staff showed zero flexibility and horrible customer service. The gym was tiny and ill-equipped.

Very clean and tidy, even though it’s in the middle of the city they had rooftop pool, dry sauna, restaurant in high floor, breakfast which has a lot of Asian food options (they even had steamed Gyoza everyday!).

Car hire price could be less - since Uber was offering 1/10 of price.

The hotel ambience was good and the rooms were clean.

If you are looking for cooperation from the hotel staff pls. do not expect much. They are least helpful and will not listen to much of your problems. They are money minded and non cooperative.

Calm and quite location, clean nice and quiet room, friendly staff, nice view from the top floor restaurant and open roof pool. I ordered the airport pick-up, so not only Hotel managed the car, but also ordered assistance for me inside the airport, which was a nice touch.

Transport services offered by hotel are 5x/10x more expensive than Uber. Ok, it can be more expensive than Uber, but not on this level. Laundry cost also way too high for Dhaka price levels.

The location can a bit hard to find as it’s in a small side street.

I booked executive Double king upon arrival I got just regular room. It is looks like scamming

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast has a nice spread although it would be nice if they had offering for lactose intolerant people and gluten free offerings.

The staff doesn't give the guest their personal space. They ask a ton of personal questions the second you arrive back to the hotel, sometimes making me uncomfortable. I asked for help to book tours and all they could offer was a hotel car and driver. I asked for lunch places around the hotel and they sent me to the city center where there is only street food. Later after exploring I found a fantastic indian restaurant just 3 min walk from the hotel and a trendy coffee spot and cafe. No mention of them from the hotel. The manager was not accommodating when asked if I could change my reservation by one day of a 5 night stay so I ended up having to pay $92 for a night I didn't use and I asked on the first day of arriving, not the 4th and although it was non refundable, the manager didn't even want to get creative, just said no. The car service is 5x more expensive one way than uber from the airport. This is not right for guests. The hotel is set in a quiet alley off the main hub so anywhere you want to go, its at least a 5-10 min walk. It's safe but not always convenient. The AC in my room was loud and took a long time to cool the room.
