The house was absolutely adorable and very well equipped with everything we needed. We spent alot of time on the nice sand beach and enjoying the lake view from the deck. Megan was fantastic at answering all questions in a very timely manner. Definitely looking to rent again next year 😀

I loved this cottage. It was clean, cute and well stocked. It's in a convenient location for all sorts of activities. The little beach was clean, the water is nice and shallow and clean. Chairs and umbrellas are provided which is a major plus for me. There is a small marina to dock your boat, with a boat launch not too far away. The parking with a boat trailer is a little tight but we made it work. We will for sure stay here again.

Our family thorough enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend. They had everything we needed to keep 3 teenage boys busy. The lake was beautiful. We have every intention on renting there again!

We have been vacationing in the Petoskey area since I was a little kid. This is by far the best place we have stayed! The location and beach/lake access cannot be beat. The kids (and adults 😉) loved the LilyPad and kayaks. Already planning on coming back next summer!

We have been vacationing in the Petoskey area since I was a little kid. This is by far the best place we have stayed! The location and beach/lake access cannot be beat. The kids (and adults 😉) loved the LilyPad and kayaks. Already planning on coming back next summer!

It was a great week @ Megan & Tom's cottage! The cottage was as described and pictured online. It is accurate that the front bedroom does hear road noise since it is up against a busy road, however it was not a deal breaker and did not bother us. We spent most of the time in the kitchen/living room and of course outside. It was cute, cozy and had all the essentials. Loved having a washer/dryer as well. There was a new gas grill on the property so we grilled almost every night. There is a grocery store (Olsen's) a few miles away to get groceries and bundles of wood. After grilling each night we swam and then had a fire down on the beach overlooking the lake. We also rented the kayaks to explore the lake. There is a nice 10-15 min walk along the water in front of what looked like family owned homes/cottages. Even though it rained 1/2 of our stay we made the best of it and explored. Charlevoix, Mackinac Island and the Sleeping Bear Dunes were a fun day trip. Also check out Pond Farm Winery/Brewery for lunch and drinks as well as the nature walk close by. Megan and her family were great, we met them one night doing smores and our son enjoyed a little basketball with Sander their son:) We would definitely recommend staying and we would return as well:)

It is a shared common area, so I imagine with more than two families there it may get crowded. The kids enjoyed the water and the basketball area. This property is very much kid friendly. The property sits feet from a busy road. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us since we were only staying for a tournament weekend. There are two queen beds upstairs and one down stairs. The bed up stairs was very lumpy and sagged in the middle. The other queen was much more firm and overall comfortable. Ultimately, we had a very nice stay and the owners were very gracious, making sure we had all the amenities we needed. I would recommend this property. It is in a great location and just minutes away from Petoskey.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Check in and check out were easy. The property owner was very responsive and did everything she could to make us feel at home and comfortable reaching out to her. She had lots of great recommendations in the area. The kitchen is well stocked. The place was very clean which we especially appreciated given the pandemic. Close to both Petoskey and Harbor Springs with lots to do in the area. You can see the lovely lake from the unit but the parking lot is between the unit and the lake. My only other complaint would be that the unit is very close to a busy road. Didn’t bother us really but could be a turn off for some. Overall very happy. Highly recommend. Would stay here again.

Crooked Lake Cottage was very clean and cozy for our fall get away last weekend. The property manager was very attentive prior to and during our stay. The home is a short drive from Downtown Petoskey, located right of Highway 31.
