This property was exactly what we were hoping for. Lots of great outdoor space and right on the water. There were enough bedrooms for the everyone to have their own space. The location was super convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The washer/dryer was a big plus as well!!! James was responsive when we had questions leading up to and during the stay. We were a little surprised by the number of bugs inside the home, but that is to be expected to some extent when you are on the water like this. There are also neighbors on the shared grounds and not a lot of guidance about community guidelines with some playing basketball right outside at midnight, chairs being taken off the deck for campfires by others, and trash being left on the beach. Not dealbreakers by any means, but some community guidelines would be helpful. We will definitely be trying to book with James again in the future!

We enjoyed this property and our vacation so much . This house is so well equipped down to the last marshmallow roasting fork that we didn’t need to purchase anything extra. We had a beach out our front door that our 3 year old granddaughter enjoyed everyday. We enjoyed watching her from the covered deck and ate all our meals on the deck picnic table. The house was immaculate and it was great to have the stackable washer dryer in the house. The other cottages owners and vacationers were so nice also!

Great trip! Cabin is cozy with well stocked kitchen. Close to skiing. We loved our stay.

Great location, close to Nubs Nob where my family was snowboarding. Plenty of room for 8 people and the house had everything we needed.

This property was great. The setup is wonderful! Our host let us have a little later check out which was so helpful since we had littles. The lake view is beautiful and access to everything in the surrounding towns is key.

Had a great time in the cabin. Sitting out by the fire pit was great at night. Property was clean but there was some noise from the road but didn’t really bother us much. Would recommend.

We had the best time! The house is steps from the very nice beach. Beautiful property! Kitchen is well equipped. We loved the picnic table on the little deck for lunch/snack time. The property is a perfect location for visiting Petoskey and Harbor Springs. We had such a fabulous time!!

The stay was clean and worked perfect for our family.

Property manager, Jim, was available to answer our call the moment we arrived when we discovered unmade beds. The matter was attended to promptly that evening. The setting was absolutely gorgeous and we especially enjoyed the 2nd floor deck, the beach, and the basket to shoot the basketball. A hard thing to ignore was no AC with 90 degree day temperatures. Trying to sleep was brutal, even with fans that we brought ourselves. Also, the highway noise interfered w/the serenity of the setting. Again, the setting (view and cottage) was wonderful, but very difficult to enjoy fully due to no AC and loud traffic noise. Prime location for easy drive to Harbor Springs and Petoskey! Thankful for an overall memorable time!

This house was the perfect size for our family! It was very clean and as pretty as in the pictures! Beautiful location and beach with wonderful views of the lake! We enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings! Very close to grocery store, Gaslight District, Adventure Golf, and Harbor Springs!

This place was perfect for a ski weekend with friends. House had everything we needed the beds were super comfortable, unlike many rentals. Had everything we needed for a great stay, including a priceless view of Crooked Lake. Would definitely stay again!

This was an awesome get away. The cutest place, with awesome views. Everything was laid out perfectly on what to do to get in and also check out. Will definitely be back!!

Perfect location for visiting tunnel of trees and kayaking on the sturgeon river. We had a group of 8 adults and fit in nicely. Excellent food nearby, we liked Northwood Family Restaurant which is just down the street. Fire pit and beach area were great and beautiful view of sunset on the lake. The upstairs bathroom was nice, seemed like it was recently updated. Overall good experience would stay here again.

This is the 2nd time staying here. Many up grades since last year. Love the new deck & the staircase going to the 2nd floor decking. It was actually easier to take luggage to the upper bedrooms. The cabin was perfect for a Michigan Family Vacation. The property offered all that was needed to relax and enjoy the water and sandy beach but also centrally located for quick getaways. We brought our own boat for tubing, the lake was not congested at all, we had plenty of room. The onsite dock was a convenient bonus. Plenty of options to rent a pontoon and boat all day down the chain of lakes. The shared beach was also nice for the kids to meet some new playmates. The cabin was well stocked with towels but was also nice to have laundry available. We had a family of 9 and never ran out of hot water. The paved bike path was just across the street , enter off Rose St. just down the road (to the left). We also got in a day trip to Mackinac. Looking forward to a return stay next year!

This property was great for the true “Up North” vacation. My family enjoyed the cottage, beach and surrounding areas with 2 busy toddlers. We can’t wait to visit again!

The location on the beach is wonderful. The beach is really nice and has chairs to use and boat harbour is definitely a plus. Beautiful large deck with great lake views. Owner very responsive when had issue.

We enjoyed our stay, and the view of the lake is beautiful! Nice location, plenty of space for our group of four, and conveniently located to the ski slopes. I wish I would have read the description more closely to see that there is only a kuerig coffee maker - we brought coffee but were unable to use it. Supplying a regular coffee maker would have been nice. Also, note that there is no shampoo or conditioner provided - you must bring your own. There were also a couple bags of trash in the unit upon arrival. Overall though, comfortable stay.

This place was in a great location for our ski trip with friends. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. The place was clean and had plenty of towels and extra blankets for everyone. I would definitely visit again!
