Had a lovely time in this lovely property

We had a wonderful stay in Lavender Cottage for Christmas 2023, the cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Thank you Chris & Jayne for hosting.

Stayed 4 or 5 times now, can’t find a fault with the cottage or it’s location. We love it!

Very nice property. Clean and tidy. Good location for what we wanited to go and visit. Didn’t use all off the complex but the pub and restaurant was very nice and friendly. Nothing wasn’t to much to much of a problem to help. Walk down the beach was a bit of a journey but worth it. Overall very happy we picked what we did. If we was coming this way again I would differently look this place up. Very happy.

The cottage was just as described but so many extra little things that made it special A great place to stay with easy access to everything The activities saved the day for me as I had my granddaughter staying with me and the weather was not that kind to us so these daily activities entertained her They were great to and good value for the money

Fabulous cottage at the Bay in filey. So many lovely beaches. Wonderful places to visit and explore in and around the area, and further a field . Beautiful north yorkshire at its best in all kinds of weather.

We had a lovely stay at Lavender Cottage, it’s clean and fully equipped with everything you need! A great base for exploring - the owner was very nice and clearly thought of everything. Only downside of the resort was the swimming pool, I think it could be better. Otherwise the facilities on site were great and the beach is beautiful. We’d come back again

A beautiful cottage to stay in, wonderful facilities they provided us with. The weather really let us down as it was awful, also the sea with it's sewage leakage made that much more difficult. The weather made it impossible to keep the dogs clean & dry as they were soaking wet, with no where for us to wash & dry them. This really made the holiday with 2 dogs next to impossible. Some of the events we wanted to go on because of the weather was a no as they did not accept the dogs. The dogs couldn't be left on their own in the cottage meaning we didn't have this as an opportunity. Unfortunately when we checked with The Bay they had put outside most of the games/sport stuff which means rain means it couldn't be used. Nothing to do with the Lavender Cottage as they were lovely, however we will not go back to The Bay at Filey.

Exactly as it said on the tin. Clean with all the facilities needed although I didn’t understand the thermostat control.

Comfortable house in a lovely location. Well equipped with a good supply of games, books, and dvds to keep everyone amused. Chris and Jayne were very helpful in answering our queries before our trip. We enjoyed the garden area too, also the pool and the beach. Thanks for a great break.

We had a wonderful time. The area is amazing and is in the perfect location. The Cottage is lovely and well presented. We would definitely return again for a holiday. Thank you

The cottage was exactly as described, warm, well equipped and a great location which was really quiet.

After the booking we were contacted by Jayne just as a courtesy call which was a lovely touch. We found the property to be clean and well maintained. The house is in a great location, close to Filey bay, and is very dog friendly. The pub on the holiday park we found to be really good and the service to a good standard. Overall a great stay and highly recommended.

Property was very clean and well equipped with everything you might need for a stay. Very quiet which is what we like. Local pub on site very welcoming with very friendly staff. Beaches around were lovely. Property managers very helpful.

Our second stay at this lovely cottage at The Bay, Filey. Everything was as good as we remembered it – spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished, extremely well equipped in the kitchen and throughout the cottage. The owners, Jayne & Chris, always respond quickly too. We look forward to returning later on in the year.

We spent Christmas at lavender cottage it is a beautiful place. Felt homely and welcoming the minute we walked in. Everything you needed was there. Chris and Jayne are excellent hosts kept us upto date with facilities on site and kept in contact up to us staying. Cannot recommend this home enough. We didn't want to go home. Good communication from jayne on booking the cottage and also a phone call to see if we needed any further info The cottage is spotlessly clean with everything supplied for your needs a real home from home There is a pub on site where the staff are very friendly and they serve good food
