Many thanks to Luiz for nice and cozy apartments.We love the pool,the privacy,the old cus-cus factory atmosphere.Beutiful wievs from terrace.Two local authentic restaurants have a very good Poncha.Not in a touristy area.We enjoyed our time at your house.

Wonderful quiet, peaceful location, with stunning views of the harbour. Sun terraces and pool in a beautiful garden. A hidden gem. Bus services are good for town and Monte. A couple of great bakeries, supermarket and restaurants nearby. We loved it so much. Luiz and his family made us feel so welcome, like old friends. We will return soon. The bed was so comfortable. We just loved chilling in the sunshine in the garden. It was so idyllic. The local people in the bars and bakeries were so kind and friendly. There is a beautiful church nearby. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and well equipped for a wonderful stay.

The location is high up in the outskirts of the capital of Funchal and has a beautiful view over the city with the ocean. There were plenty buses that went up and down the mountain and we never felt like we needed to rent a car to get around. Walking down to the city would work, but walking up would be very steep. The apartment has all you would need to cook and stay there comfortably. Host was super friendly and helpful!

The apartment is very close to the church, which rings its bells from 7am, every 15min. So there is no sleeping-in as you are woken up every day at 7am. We didn't mind too much as we had tours booked that picked us up early at that church, so it worked out as our alarm!

Great location 10min away from Funchal centre. Cozy house with nice rooftop views.

Comfortable and convenient location - good facilities in the local area and close to bus stop to get into the city. Our hosts were very helpful in the days leading up to arrival to help us with airport transfer etc. Lovely outdoor area with sunlongers and fantastic view over Funchal and the ocean.

Very helpful & friendly host, who provided good information about the area. Brilliant views over the city. Good connectivity via local bus services. Delightful place to stay that felt like home from home.
