Nice staff, very helpful with returning the hire care and the shuttle to the airport; lovely waiter. Beautiful gardens. If you eat meat and fish, the restaurant had some good offerings and the meals were enjoyed by my travelling companions.

Room facing the car park cf other rooms looking out on lovely gardens. The car park outside our room was very noisy around 1 am with locals doing wheelies. Veg options limited in the restaurant. I had minestrone which was not particularly interesting and came with one slice of toast, no parmesan. Room expensive compared with other hotels in the area. Hotel is an older one which has a grand lobby but the rooms we stayed in were quite ordinary and dated. We found it commendable that all the accommodation in NZ where we stayed used small reusable glass milk bottles for tea and coffee and were disappointed to find the plastic one serve pods in use here.

The room was of good size for 3 of us. Close to airport and free shuttles. Close to shopping mall and cafe, very convenient for getting supply before heading to ski.

Location was very convinent, very clean and staff was lovely. Alexa in the room was amazing to listen to music and set up and alarm.

Location - We walked the short distance from the airport to the hotel from choice - but they offer a pick up service free of charge. 24 hour reception - We arrived an hour later than planned at 2am - and the check in was easy and smooth. We were given a 11am check in free of charge - so much nicer not to rush the next am. Bed was comfortable, with basic tea/coffee facilities.

The bathroom doors wouldn't close properly, not a major because we were with family.

Very noisy around our room. Bath was old and crusty. Shower only had two temperatures, hot or cold

Convieance of location for flying out early morning of airport and shuttle bus running 24hrs room pretty simple great location walk to the shops.

Bit pricey on the breakfast box but will admit Im glad I got it because airport facilities for any food was big lineups that early in the morning so I'm glad I got something . Bathroom dated ,Shower over a bath did not see on any photos if I knew would have booked elsewhere .

The reception staff were excellent. Very polite and professional.

Fabulous hotel, this was our second stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The decor is lovely. The rooms are clean and of good size with great facilities. The restaurant serves great food. Handy to the Antarctic Centre and local shops and a short walk from Christchurch Airport. We were able to rest and felt revitalised from our short stay. Would be delighted to stay there again and thoroughly recommend the hotel.
