The flat was above and beyond our expectations. Lovely view, within walking distance of restaurant, shops, sightseeing locations, etc. I would highly recommend!!

The home was perfect. Clean, very roomy, just delightful. Highly recommend. My favorite was the walking paths around Loch Ness and how close city center is.

A great location from which to visit the highlands. We enjoyed amazing walks in Glenn Affric and the Cairngorms, and toured the Black Isle, Loch Ness and even ventured as far as Skye. The property is close enough to the town to walk in and use all the amenities, but in a great position overlooking the Ness river to feel secluded. Shona popped in to check everything was ok, and kept us informed via messages from booking through to check out.

We arrived to find the house warm and welcoming. Goodies had been left for us and a pint of milk for a quick cuppa. Very well stocked for a long stay. Lots of information in the folder under the TV which we used for the oven as it didn't want to heat our tea. The owner even popped by just to make sure all was well. Lovely situation just on the banks of the River Ness. Lots of time spent watching all the dog walkers go past. Lovely at night with the reflections in the water. Would certainly recommend anyone staying there.

This was the fourth or fifth time we have stayed. Shona is friendly and welcoming, the house is clean, well equipped and excellently located. It’s our go-to every time we come to Inverness and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

We stayed at this property and were pleased with the cleanliness and fantastic communication with the owners. The location is away from the noise of town and a few minutes from the Ness Island walk. A bit like staying at your favorite eclectic aunt's house; it feels like a home and not a Euro-mod flat.

The property was clean and we could not fault it. Well equipped we would definetly stay again.

Great rental in fabulous location overlooking River Ness. House is just a short walk from town center and comes very well equipped with all required amenities. The host Shona was very attentive and communicated very clearly. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay in this property which was conveniently situated near the city centre. The property had a good range of equipment in the kitchen and was very clean.

The house was very comfortable with a lovely view over the river and a short walk into Inverness centre. The city is an ideal centre for visiting the Highlands. The communication with Shona was excellent and we appreciated the tea, coffee & milk which was left for us. Highly recommended

The house was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. A perfect home from home! Shona was attentive but unintrusive. She left a lovely little welcome pack that was hugely appreciated after a long day of travelling. The location of the house was outstanding. Less than a kilometre fron Inverness City centre, about the same to Whin Park in the other direction, with its play park, miniature railway, skate park and boating Lake. It is also right beside Bellfield Park with its bike hire, tennis courts and play park with paddling pool. Perfect for children and teens and brilliant for our child with special needs. For us it was a perfect base to explore Inverness and the surrounding area. We enjoyed visits to Urquhart Castle, Fort George, Spynie Palace, Culloden battle site and Elgin Cathedral. We also enjoyed a bot tour of Loch Ness and a day trip to Nairn. We left before we could see and do all the things we wanted to see and do. The area is so steeped in history and offers so much for families. Many, many thanks to Shona for such a perfect base. We couldn't recommend the house or location highly enough!

Had a lovely weeks break with family in Shonas house, the situation of the property is brilliant for river walks and view from window is gorgeous. Its about 10 minutes walk from town and supermarkets within walking distance too. Shona has everything you need, like tea, coffee, washing up liquid, toilet roll etc, very well equipped, home from home really. Would recommend.

Nice property, handy for walking into Inverness, nice walk through the ness islands and along the river. Could do with more space for car parking , though our car is quite big. Nice that basics were available and Shona left us milk in the fridge along with tea and coffee and some big biscuits. Recommended

We loved our stay! Everything was perfect. The location is unbeatable with the river and beautiful paths right across from us. Everything was so close and within walking distance. Shona you were the perfect host and made everything perfect for our stay and the communication was flawless. Thank you. We would love to come back one day.

Very clean. Nicely updated. Lots of included perks (laundry, TV, wifi that worked very well, fridge, cooking facilities, park across street, River walk). The owner, Shona, was wonderfully available and very, very nice. We would stay here again, in a heartbeat!

Excellent location by the river

This is a lovely comfortable property in an excellent location. Short walk to town and just across from the river. Very clean. The owner was a delight to work with.

The property was ideally located only a 15 minute scenic walk along the river to the centre of Inverness. It has three bedrooms and we had a fold up bed to accommodate all of us five golfers. It had all the modern kitchen and washing facilities which we never used. We just used it as a base for which it was ideal. We had hired two cars and there was parking outside for both. Unfortunately one of our group parked on the road and was fined for two nights. This was totally our own fault but perhaps could be pointed out for future tenents. The landlords were brilliant. They left us to ourselves and on the two occasions we needed assistance they could not have been more helpful. When one of our group ended up in hospital after a bad fall, Shona volunteered to visit him. A gesture which was really appreciated. We had a wonderful time in Inverness. The golf courses exceeded our expectations, the town is prettier than we expected with good restaurants and bars. The ideal location of the accommodation enhanced the whole holiday. A real positive experience.

Shona met us at the property and showed around the house. She is very friendly and helpful. She had a map of the town on the coffee table for us. The home is a great location! Great views of the river, close to center of town and the perfect place to walk along the river. Living room was bright and sunny and the kitchen was perfect for us. Off street parking was very helpful for us. We loved it.

Property was immaculate, comfortable and well equipped. With great walks for our dog in the nearby parks and river islands.

This home is perfectly situated. It has a wonderful view and a completely cozy, homey feel. There were 5 of us (2 couples and 1 single) and the amount of room was just perfect. Everything we needed from preparing meals to doing laundry was available. The walk from the house to city center was under 10 minutes. (Even in a wee bit of rain.) Shona was great, and so understanding, even when we arrived later than planned. I would very highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a lovely time in Inverness! The house is a great location and within walking distance of restaurants, the movie theater, and the center of town. It was clean and quiet. There was an outside parking space in front of the garage and the house was easy to find. You have all the appliances you need including a dishwasher, hey who wants to hand wash dishes when you are on vacation! We loved the location and its easy access to all the sites that surround Inverness.

The property overlooks the River Ness-truly beautiful! The property is very well equipped with everything you need and was spotless. Communication between Shona a and I was fantastic. Would certainly stay here again and would highly recommend.
