Nice well-equipped apartment which has been tastefully renovated and is a very short walk to the beach and restaurants. If travelling by car I would recommend unloading at the end of Rue Camille Desmoulins which is effectively a cul-de-sac and easy to access from the main road . We also found that the only car parks which allow long term (> 6 hour) parking are Parking du Stade and Parking du Chateau d'Eau , both of which are a 15 min walk uphill from the apartment. If driving to the closer car park (Parking de la Riere) from the apartment , don't follow Google Maps as it tries to route via a very low bridge which looks virtually impassable. The Chateau Royal is well worth a visit and inexpensive , also good to drive along to the coast over the border to Spain to visit some of the small towns such as Colera. Thanks also to Tone and Henrik who were very responsive when we had an issue with fans (it was very hot during our stay) which was addressed over the first weekend.

We had a lovely time in yr beautiful apartment, it was in a perfect position,so close to everything and the views were amazing! We did find the apartment a bit hot at times but there again the temperature was exceptionally high while we were there and coming from a colder country we struggled a bit with it. We thank you for letting us rent your apartment.

We had a wonderful time in Henrik and Tone’s apartment. It was even better than we had expected - great location on quiet pretty street but very close to beach and rest of the town. We had our 16 month son and the apartment was very safe and well-equipped for us. It was lovely to get to meet Henrik and Tone too and we felt very welcome. Thank you so much!

Our first time in Collioure. It is a beautiful little town only made better by our stay in this wonderful apartment. Its set in pretty cobbled backstreets a short walk from the beach. The view from the apartment is stunning. The only downside was having to leave. We will hopefully be back very soon!

This was an excellent spot for our group of 4. The common spaces are welcoming and comfortable for4 people. There is a bed in the upstairs loft, which we did not use. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs were perfect for privacy and differing schedules. The kitchen was very well appointed with pots and pans. The views of the beaches and the windy sea beyond are incredible.. The walk to “town” for a swim or food is quick and easy.

The house is very nicely decorated and has a beautiful view, it is very quiet and is very clean. The owners are not on site but can be reached at any time and are very nice and caring. We felt very comfortable.

The house is very beautiful, well decorated, welcoming, functional. The situation is very good, in a very nice area, calm while being close to the beach, shops ... This vacation home was absolutely perfect! We totally loved it. The location and view were stunning. We loved sitting on the smal balcony at every occation, watching the sea and beach in the distance. The walking distance to the beaches, restaurants, boulangerie, shops etc. was superb. So each family member coud follow her/his own interest. Two bathrooms were perfect for our teenagers. The part of the town was so beautiful and still very quiet. We slept with open windows. and havn't slept that good for a long time. Beds were great. Everyting comfortable and pretty. Regarding parking, we were lucly. We found a free spot right away and did not leave it during our stay. There also was no need for moving the car. Hardy ever stayed in such a beautiful house and location!!!

Het appartement is ruim en comfortabel en goed verzorgd. De ligging is fantastisch, in een romantisch steegje in het oude centrum, op loopafstand van het strand. Enige nadeel is dat er geen goed balkon bij zit.

This is an outstanding house. So well designed with high quality furnishings and fittings. Wonderful views. Ideal location to wander the little streets of Collioure. Parking might be a challenge in August but was easy to find when we stayed.

The apartment was in a great location, a quiet set of walkways between authentic old, mostly stone apartment buildings, where both locals and holiday renters reside. Apart from holiday makers, we were living among the locals which gives the place authenticity and charm. The apartment was not even a minute from the beach front and had a view to the beach from the dining/living area and one of the bedrooms. Almost as important was the closeness to a very good Boulanger and close by are good eating places. The two bathrooms and two bedrooms were perfect for two couples or a family and the living area was a good size for the four of us. The mezzanine upstairs area would also great for another couple, because it has plenty of space and another double bed, while we used it as a work space for two of us who needed to work using the internet connection. The kitchen facilities were excellent, we prepared most of our meals there and it was as easy to do as it is at home because of the good quality oven, stove top cooking, microwave and good sized fridge/freezer. While it was very hot when we arrived, keeping windows open and bedroom fans kept us comfortable at night, but then it cooled to around 28 deg and simply having the windows open at night is sufficient. In winter there would be good heating with a firebox and electric heaters in all rooms as well. The general location is a winner, the beach, the walks up through the local vineyards, the views from up in the hills, the closeness to Spain, this is a wonderful place for relaxation and also being able to work off the wonderful breads and pastries from the Boulanger The only minor gripe was the cleaning was not as good as it should be and the door on the main bedroom would not shut properly. Tone and Henrik arrived soon after and gave the place a thorough clean (although we had cleaned it ourselves soon after we arrived), but the door not closing on the bedroom was annoying because it needed to be chocked shut and that was not very satisfactory. But it has to be emphasised that we loved the apartment and the location, and if we visit Collioure again it would be our choice, and I am sure that Tone and Henrik, who were totally lovely people and very responsive to all our communications, will attend to the minor issue of the door not closing and will ensure the cleaner ups their quality.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay in Collioure. We loved the apartment. It is in the perfect area - quiet but still very close to the beaches, restaurants. And the apartment itself is beautiful. Really well equipped and very comfortable. Best of all - an amazing view. Five stars all round.

Situated in the best part of Collioure (away from the touristy spots), beautifully decorated, outstanding view on the sea, close to beach, excellent restaurants and bars à vin. We will surely return one day, but without a car (difficult and very pricy to park, even with bad weather at the beginning of June). Highly recommended!

What a fantastic, charming, magical home to spend two weeks in! The second week our adult son and friends joined us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with outstanding dinners in town and days of adventures. The views from the home are breathtaking and everything you need is provided. A lovely and magical place!

We feel so fortunate to find this gem! The view of the sea, framed in by the fort and cathedral, has to be see to be believed - it was absolutely breathtaking! The house was beautifully decorated and perfectly designed for our group of two couples. There was also another bed in the comfortable loft with plenty of privacy for additional sleeping. Collioure was a great town and strategically located to enjoy the area: Cathar castles, Banyuls tastings, hiking along the coast and more. Tone and Henrik were wonderful to work with. We were also lucky to have the opportunity to spend time visiting over aperitif. We look forward to the chance to return to beautiful Collioure and the Charming Fisherman's House!

We live in France and have been to Collioure often, staying in hotels. This time we had a small group and wanted a place where we could gather for breakfast and cocktails. This apartment was just the thing. Plus, the absolutely fabulous view of the harbor and very nice, helpful owners who happened to be next door while we were there.
