Everything worked out great. The house had a solid dock right on the water for our kayaks and raft. Doug and Pam were wonderful hosts who actually live right there in a smaller home on the property.

Love the house, dock was great good fishing.

This property was very nice. Outstanding views of the lake. The host were very accommodating and met all our needs. Appreciate the hospitality. We would recommend it to friends and family.

The house was perfect for our 2 family 3 nights stay. Lake view, fire pit, kayak and hammock topped off our experience. Will definitely recommend and we plan on visiting again. A couple of things to improve on - beds were somewhat squeaky; a second standing shower would have been helpful. These are not show stoppers by any means.

House suited the needs of our group well. Everything we needed was available. Hosts answered all questions. Easy communication, smooth rental process, no issues.

We had a wonderful week at Pam and Doug's lake house. The grounds are lovely and having coffee on the deck each morning was a great way to start the day. The firepit was a great way to end the day too. The house was large and comfortable, allowing family members multiple areas to hang out but we all seemed to navigate to the screened-in porch. We spent time at Sylvan Beach and also went to Alexandria Bay and toured the 1000 islands via boat. We went to the nearby Grace Tyler winery on Friday evening for outside live music, wine and appetizers - it was perfect. Thanks for a perfect week (well, the weather could have been better though)

Pam and Doug were a pleasure to deal with. We had a great time and the weather was very nice all week. Fireworks going off all around the lake on the 3rd and 4th was pretty cool.

Pat and Doug were friendly and exceptionally helpful when we ask for anything. The House was spotless.

Our family enjoyed this property very much! It is right on the lake. Groceries And liquor store are 2 minutes away. House was very clean and had a lot of room for everyone. The screened porch and kitchen are overlooking the lake which was wonderful. Lake was worm , weather was nice, owners were extremely helpful and nice! I would definitely recommend people to stay there for their vacation time!

We had a great time. The house was large and well equipped...everything was clean and lots of extras. We fished, swam, played outdoor and indoor games. Enjoyed the spectacular sunsets. There is a tiki bar down by the water. There is an incline from the water back up to the house. Our group of seven had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The back screened-in porch is a wonderful napping place... nice day bed, lake breezes and a hummingbird that stops by to visit.

We had a great time during our stay at Pam and Doug’s place. It was clean, well-equipped, and very spacious for our party of 10. The bedrooms are large and there’s plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The dock was great to lounge on and the water was great for swimming right out front. We were relieved to have the AC in the upstairs as we had very warm weather during our stay, and the first floor did get warm. There are not a lot of restaurants nearby but the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. All in all, it was a wonderful time away with friends and family, and Pam and Doug are very accommodating and available if needed.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Lakehouse on Oneida! We traveled up for the week to fish the salmon river. Not a great week of fishing, but the house made our stay so enjoyable. Plenty of room for the seven of us, clean, well furnished, plenty of amenities, beautiful location with lake access (I should have brought the boat or a couple kayaks like I intended too), and all of the small things are thought of. So many rental properties leave something to be desired, not this one. I was thrilled with the house, and the home owners are awesome! Thank you again for sharing your home. Sincerely, Ian

We really enjoyed our Girls Weekend at this beautiful lake house. We've (7 of us) been getting to together once a year for about 28 years and this was one of our best times. The house is beautiful inside and out. Pam has handmade quilts on every bed. They add that beautiful homemade touch. Everything you could need is provided. We especially enjoyed the firepit and the fact that we didn't need to bring our own wood. The hike up to the house from the water is a little much but its worth it. Beautiful sunrise and sunset all from the same waterfront. Thanks Pam and Doug for this beautiful getaway! Maria

Everything about our stay was perfect. The house is well situated, right on the water with a beautiful dock. Huge yard. Kitchen is very well appointed with everything you need to cook. The owners were fantastic and we really appreciated some of the little extras that were there, such as the bowl of fruit. We will absolutely stay here again we come back into the area.

Great place. Had lots of fun in the water and great fishing out near islands. Owners are very friendly and there house could accommodate 8-10 people without being on top of each other. I would recommend this property for anyone who wants a great time.

My family and I just spent a week at Doug and Pam’s place and I can’t say enough great things about both them and their property! First of all the house was in great shape and Pam’s sense of cleanliness and caring for the placed showed throughout. Doug and Pam live on the property in a small home at the bottom of the hill near the lake. Some people May feel that’s weird but I thought it was great! They were VERY quick to respond to any issues we had, like a brown circuit in the kitchen,’ my fault. I communicated with Pam via email and text, and throughout the whole process she was great about getting back to me very promptly about any questions I had. The house has a great location to a gas station. For those fisherman or boaters out there, the gas station has Non-ethanol gas which is all I use in my boat. There is also a grocery store and hardware store less than a mile away. Walmart 7 miles away straight down NY-49 for any bigger things you need or forgot. The house has AC on the second floor which is great for sleeping at night. During the day if you leave the bedroom doors open the cold air falls to the first floor and the ceiling fans were great about moving the cool air around. We had high 80’s and were always comfortable. Plenty of space for the family to move around inside, and great parking space outside. But saying all these great things I am shooting myself in the foot for future renting availability but Pam and Doug have a great place, and are great people to deal with during the entire rental and vacation process. We will definitely be back for future vacations when heading to Oneida Lake .

Pam and Doug could not have made us more welcome. From the time we made the reservation until checkout they could not have been more helpful. They provided everything from soup to nuts. Nothing was left out. They even provided wood for our night time fire. I highly recommend and we will be back.

Location was perfect and house was clean, organized and had the amenities you would need. Owners were very nice and helpful with any questions or concerns. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying in the area.

Spent a couple days at this great location. Pamela and Doug are wonderful. House is beautiful and very accommodating.

The house was great. I had my elderly parents and they loved the views from the different rooms and all the space, which allowed us all to do our own thing in the evenings. Pam and Doug were extremely accommodating and followed up to make sure everything was okay. The dock and backyard were great, it was just unfortunate it was too cold to take advantage of it when we were there. The only negative was the amount of traffic I could hear from the road in front of the house at night, but I used my phone's White Noise app which helped.

Very nice to stay, very good people to deal with, Place is very clean and kept. Kitchen & bathrooms are stocked very well with supplies. The decor is very well put together with the lake charm theme as well. More than enough room for a bunch of people, Dock is newer and sturdy. Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the fire pit or the tiki bar, next time maybe. Will be back in the future.

Very nice house and property on Oneida lake. Would recommend it. Plenty of parking for my truck and boat.

I arrived to this beautiful lake house from Atlanta to visit my family who still live in the area for my annual visit to the north shore of Oneida lake. The house was spotless and the back yard to the lake was all that was shown in their photos. We met the property owners and they were very gracious to me as well as my family. A nice touch was a big bowl of fruit when we arrived setting on the dining room table. I would definitely recommend this property to families -- or even two small families -- to share. All of the bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. Grocery stores were very convenient and so was the Walmart. We actually had ordered a Walmart order on line before we got there and brought in some staple items that we used during the week. Love this house! Linda Howell

We loved the property and the hosts, will definitely go back!

My wife and I brought our 3 girls to stay at Sunrise to Sunset in late July, and genuinely enjoyed every minute. We had never been to Lake Oneida before, so we really weren't sure what to expect. We were delighted to find that the property we selected is a true gem! As soon as we stepped foot inside the house, it was apparent how much pride Pam and Doug have taken in their vacation home and the length to which they've gone to make it feel warm and welcoming. Being fans of HGTV, we really appreciated the restored beauty of the historic house and recent renovation. But the main attraction of course is the lakefront. Internet photos don't do it justice at all. We spent hours on the newly built dock, in the lake, on the anchored multiple person oversized floating lounge, around the fire, and on the hammocks just relaxing, being together and taking in the beauty. We were also delighted to learn that Oneida Boat Rentals would deliver stand up paddle boards, which we used right from the dock for a full day, and loved. There is an aura of pride and ambition that Pam and Doug have for their renovation of the historic property and hosting their guests. The main house is complete and beautiful, and the two guest houses close to the water are in-progress and you can picture how breathtaking they will soon be. In terms of feeling taken care of, Pam and Doug couldn't have been more thoughtful and attentive... a handwritten welcome note in the kitchen, the first fire in the firepit built and ready to light, the raised worm garden near the dock for fishing, chocolates in the sitting room, and the list goes on... What genuinely pleasant and simply good people. At the end of the day, the ultimate test is whether or not you would return. In this case, all five of us agreed - without hesitation. We would love to come and stay again! Thank you Pam and Doug!

Pam and Doug were so sweet to leave chocolates and a fresh cut rose for our 5 year anniversary stay at the beautiful lakeside property! Very comfortable and serene!

The house is wonderful! Everything is incredibly clean, the location is amazing and everything you could possibly want/need is there. We had three generations, from my 97 year old mother to my three year old grandson, and everyone was more than comfortable and had a great time. We will definitely be returning next summer.
