Sehr unkomplizierter und sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, Parkplätze direkt an der Unterkunft, hübscher Garten, familiäre Atmosphäre, kleine Küche ist praktisch

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen bzw. zusammengewürfelt - macht einerseits den Charme aus, andererseits ist es recht ältlich und auch abgewohnt, Handtücher muffelig, wer auf top Sauberkeit wert legt, muss sich etwas begnügen, Mikrofaserbettwäsche ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, steile Stiege zur Bettempore

Die Nähe zum Klinikum Berlin Buch. Die Matratzen waren das einzig positive.

Das Haus sowie der Garten ist sehr rümplig. Überall steht irgendwas herum. Im Zimmer roch es die ganze Zeit muffig und man hatte das Gefühl es wäre ständig etwas feucht. Die Heizung wurde abends ausgeschaltet somit wurde es recht frisch am Abend im Zimmer. Außerdem ist das Zimmer aufgrund der umliegenden Pflanzen im Garten sehr dunkel. Das Bad hatte keine Heizung, was es sehr unangenehm machte und es fängt langsam vereinzelt an zu schimmeln. Die Dusche ist recht klein. Der TV funktionierte nur die ersten beiden Tage. Danach blieb das Bild ständig stehen, oder es wurde nur schwarzes Bild angezeigt. Die Kopfkissen waren sehr ungemütlich. Man hätte auch gleich ohne schlafen können.

Starý krásný dům je takřka neudržován, v chodbě je mnoho nejrůznějších věcí a smrad. App. jsou staré, ale vybavené, kuchyň. koutek čistý. V app. je silně cítit citr. zápach, prostředí působí depresivně. Na stěnách visí obrazy ďábelských výjevů pana majitele. Dům funguje (je to napsáno na vratech) jako jakési jogínské centrum. Pro nás dům hrůzy. Inzerovaný Spielplatz s přátelskou zahradou je výsměch. Džungle, o kterou se nikdo nestará, je pro děti absolutně nevhodná. Byli jsme velmi zklamáni. Po dvou dnech a jedné probdělé noci jsme se stěhovali do centra Berlína (což se později ukázalo jako nejlepší nápad), peníze za jiný app. nám vrátit odmítli. Pane Odin, investujete laskavě naše nevrácené peníze do zahrady!)

Location is quiet

Main issue is that it was not clearly advertised, it is actually a mansion type house that is also a yoga and meditation centre in the daytime. Also we were quite shocked that we were unable to turn the heating on after arriving in the freezing cold late in the night.. the next day we asked the male host if we could turn it on and he said we can't turn it on as it is central heating. I kindly asked if he could turn it on and he refused... What hosts treat their guests like this?? The next night we had to keep the hair dryer on for like half an hour to warm up the room before sleeping... So ridiculous... I understand it might be a yoga meditation centre, but it is decorated with all sorts of idols and pictures depicting demonic spirits which we found particularly uncomfortable. Had we been told or known that it is a yoga meditation centre before booking, we would not have considered this place to stay. It does not make people feel at home or comfortable. Also because we checked in late, everything was dark and the whole house was pitch black inside, there were no clear instructions from the host to guide us to which room we were staying in.. so it was like we had walked into a haunted house.. and first thing after we went inside, we were greeted with a cat playing with a dead mouse right outside our room door. Not exactly what we were expecting..

We had such a wonderful time in Villa-Hufeland! The property is in a wonderful quiet neighbourhood. And the hosts are such a delight!

We weren’t keen on the polyester linen, but we asked for a cotton one the first night and got it no problem. 😁

This is a sprawling villa in the outskirts of Berlin, fairly close to the S-Bahn station and shopping. It is immersed in trees and a beautiful garden. The place is some sort of meditation centre, and I understand they rent one or two rooms on the premises. My little studio had everything I could need, as well as a table and chairs outdoors, which was great for me as I like having my morning coffee outside in the green. I never met the hosts face to face; a man communicated with me via messages and access was easy. The distance to downtown is about 30 min. For me his was an excellent solution.

I thought the price was somewhat high.
