This property was so convenient to walk to the the Capitol and Library of Congress as well as the whole Mall. The property is just as pictured. The second floor has a bunk bed with en suite bath. The third floor has two bedrooms, one with an en suite bath and one that has the washer and dryers. The occupants of the Master bedroom uses the bathroom in the hallway. The bathrooms are all recently remodeled and there are many different smart details such as skylights so they are not dark and don't even need lighting during the day. The property manager is extremely responsive. They have a service that handles the check in and check out and I have some mixed feelings based on my other vrbo stays. I wasn't given any confirmation or information up to 24 hours before my stay so I called for more information. I found out that I needed parking passes, which they provided quickly. You are given a code to the door 8 hours before your check in, which is great. We ended up getting locked out the last day of our stay and the service was not responsive. The property manager responded immediately to my message. I wish I had contacted her that way first. Overall, our stay was really nice and I hope to stay at this location again.

Was in DC with colleagues for a week doing hill meetings- perfect place for hanging out in between meetings, enjoyed the kitchen, super close to the Hill - you can walk anywhere. Beds were super comfortable. Very clean place with a lot of classical charm. would definitely stay here again- five stars!

Wonderful location. Doggie happy hour at Filger park was a hit with our dog. Would stay again.

This was such a wonderful property in the center of it all. Close to food and drink establishments and walk to all of DCs great attractions. We will remember it for next time.

This rental is a find. Close to Metro, the National Mall and the Eastern Market. The home was well stocked, the air conditioning worked well and having a kitchen and laundry was awesome. Excellent communication with the property management. I would highly recommend this rental.

Loved staying in this townhouse. It was so conventionally located, close to everything, and beautifully appointed. Great kitchen for cooking, had everything I needed to make a great meal.

The property requires no car. You can walk to markets, parks, restaurants, and just a short walk to the metro that will take you any where you wish to go! Comfortable and fully equipped house. Owners very responsive to your questions and needs.

This was a great house with all of the amenities we needed for our family of four. Very comfortable living spaces and well-stocked kitchen. The location was exceptional -- just a 10 minute walk and we were standing on the steps of the Supreme Court. The owner was extremely responsive, and all went very smoothly. We would definitely stay here again!

The owners are kind and responsive to any questions. It is close to a Metro station, and is within walking distance to a couple of restaurants and stores. My boys enjoyed playing football in the park across the street with some of the neighborhood kids. We felt very safe walking around at all times of day and night. I used Shipt to have some groceries delivered for our stay, and that was really great as we did not have a car to use. I'd recommend this wonderful home to anyone wanting to visit the DC area!

Great location near the mall if that's your main attraction during your DC visit. It's an older house with three living levels and a narrow staircase if that's an issue for you. Otherwise it's quite comfortable.

Maureen and Danny's historic home was appreciated by all three generations of my family! It was a haven of comfort to unwind in after touring the city. We all appreciated the abundance of books on the local museums, architecture and history as they enriched our experience of DC and the Capitol Hill neighborhood. In addition to the comfortable and well-appointed home, the location is excellent! The nearby Metro, Trader Joe's, CVS and many restaurants were only a few blocks away on well lit streets. Maureen was very helpful and accommodating. We look forward to a return stay on our next trip to DC!

Three of us stayed for a conference at the Convention Center. The townhouse was in a great, safe location. Metro stop close by. Beds were comfortable and house was well stocked. Maureen was easy to reach and responsive. Don't hesitate to stay here. We loved it.

Our family of 5 loved this convenient lovely 3 bedroom home in Capital Hill. We had a short 3 day stay but wished we could have stayed longer!! This home was great to come back to after a long day of museums and sites ...the kitchen was well equipped and everything was neat and clean. Highly recommend!!!

My family recently spent six nights at this gorgeous home. It has everything you need and is close to the metro. The owner checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming, updated house. The house had plenty of room for our family and was walking distance from the Capitol Mall. The owners left all of the information that we would need and responded to any communication that we sent. We would definitely recommend staying here for a trip to Washington DC. It was much more homey than a hotel.

Four of us had an excellent stay at this lovely home. The house is situated in a very attractive and safe area near the metro and within walking distance of the National Mall. We hope to return!

Loved the property. Decor was excellent. Parking was easy. The unit was excellent for our family of 4 and mother-in-law to visit DC. Loved the park across the street for walking the dog, watching neighborhood softball games, and meeting people out for a walk for restaurant recommendations. Easy walk to the corner market, Metro, and the harbor. Was surprised when we walked right by the Nationals stadium, so had to take in a game while we were there! Maureen was so helpful and accomodating with any questions we had. I would stay here again if when/if we return to the DC area.

This home made our week in DC. Amazing layout that was perfect for our family of four and my mother-in-law. Truly felt like our home away from home. Extremely comfortable and clean. Super convenient to all of the sights and situated in an amazing neighborhood where we could walk to several delicious and unique eateries. The kids loved having so many playground near by too. It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful historic home and to enjoying living like a local for a week. The home is well maintained, clean, updated and in a great location. We were able to walk to almost everywhere we went. The owner is great and easy to work work. It was a great experience.
