I want to start by saying that Casas del Sol is a beautifully kept complex in a great position. The pool area was lovely and of a good size with a nice pool temperature and if you timed it right managed to get sunbeds. We arrived at number 7A on Friday 19 August and we found everything to be absolutely fine. Maybe our only thought was that the double bedroom was a little on the small side, with not a lot of room around the bed, but this didn’t pose too much of a problem. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very much welcomed as the weather was extremely hot and this was operated by euro coins. The best feature of the property for us was the very spacious terrace, providing a table with four chairs, as well as another seating area with coffee table and 4 sunbeds. We absolutely loved sitting on the terrace, and even though close to the road, we felt peaceful and chilled. However, things dramatically went downhill very quickly into our holiday and our peace was shattered. Unfortunately the adjoining property was having a full renovation and work was to continue for the remainder of our two week holiday. It was no longer private as there were builders coming and going right outside, and the noise was horrendous. What with dust flying over our terrace where we were not only sitting, but also having washing out was not great. The noise finally got so bad that we had no other choice than to ask reception if they could kindly find us alternative accommodation on the complex. Thankfully we were moved on Wednesday 24 August. Miscommunication led to this happening, and it caused a lot of upset and stress. Had we been notified of this building work before our arrival, then we most certainly would have found somewhere else to stay as we had free cancellation until 26 July. Hopefully future guests won’t have any problems and all in all it was a nice place to stay. We were just very unlucky at the time.

We have based ourselves at 7a for several restful holidays now. Without fail we have been delighted with the accommodation and associated facilities. It's proximity to the Playa Blanca harbour with its impressive restaurants, shops and promenade adds to the holiday experience!! We'll be back!!!

Nice villa in great location. Had everything we needed and great to be back in Playa Blanca after several years. Good pool and short walk to the bars and restaurants on the front.

This was our 3rd visit to this villa so we are clearly happy with everything , quiet position and not too far from the pool with the benefits of everything that goes in the village on your doorstep. Would recommend it for both couples and families

This property was great value. We only had 2 of us staying, one in each bedroom, but it had everything you needed to comfortably accommodate more. The air conditioning was really economical which was great as we definitely needed it. It was well situated with the Spar and a few bars close by. We didn't get any noise as a result though. The pool had plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. It was really clean and a good temperature. Les, the owner, contacted us ahead of our arrival to make sure arrangements were in place for us to get the keys. He also let us know that there was the option to vacate the property later on our last day. Although we had an early flight it was appreciated that he'd let us know anyway. I would definitely recommend this property.

The house is small but sublime - everything you need is provided, air con, loads of kitchen equipment, comfy beds and there is a twice weekly cleaner visiting with clean towels etc. Large communal pool - really warm, 25 degrees water temp. in January making it a genuine year-round pool. TV has more channels than you will ever need - all nationalities catered for - including Nat Geo, all the news feeds, loads of entertainment, documentary and film channels. WI-FI excellent, never failed us during our 12 day stay. Tennis courts are a bonus and reception even provide rackets and balls. Immediately across the road is a large Spar store with has everything you need (and more) and several bars and restaurants. The main town and promenade is about a 5 minute walk away and the fabulous Flamingo beach about 10 mins walk the other way. Unless you want to tour the island you do not need a car when staying here. We've stayed in this locality before and chose Casas del Sol especially because of it location and 7A didn't disappoint.

Perfect for couples or a family of four, you can sunbath all day due to it been a south facing villa on one of the four sun loungers provided with cushions for extra comfort. There is also a bbq and chairs for meals outside or in if required with a spar shop across the road to get all your supplies. The T V is very good for all channels you could ever want to watch when you can’t handle the 😎� no more, all the latest movies, sports and soaps. The Air conditioning works a treat if you follow the instructions and cost very little to run, the communal pool is a good size and very quiet and pleasant. Also the positioning of the villa is perfect for walking into town to one of the amazing restaurants, only around a 300 yard walk. Walk the other way to flamingo beach which is about a 600 yard walk where there is also a choice of great restaurants. Stayed November 2019

Swimming pool very quiet with lots of loungers to choose from. All surrounding areas beautifully kept. Ate out so did not really use kitchen facilities so can’t comment on these except to say we used the fridge . Air con in bedrooms useful. Sky tv acting up a bit but was fixed by staff. Good value for money in a location of Playa Blanca that we like and stayed in before. Ideal for couples but probably not for families with older children as pool area is a quiet area with restrictions on music and inflatables. Would stay again.

Casas del sol is in a fantastic location in Playa Blanca, 2 mins walk from the main streets. It was quiet during our stay, so there was no bother with sun loungers. Villa 7a had everything we needed for our holiday, we particularly appreciated the WiFi and the TV when our young children had us up from 7 each morning!

The complex is perfectly placed , close to the centre of the resort but not too noisy. The swimming pool are is very nice, lots of loungers and kept very clean. The villa was very pleasant and the terrace is a sun trap. Will certainly return.

7a Has everything needed for a good holiday thank you

We did enjoy our holiday, after spring cleaning the bedroom draws and a general clean through. The bedrooms felt cold and a feeling of not being lived in for a while. Mattresses were well below par after informing the reception and a visit from the landlord, the two single mattresses were replaced with nice new ones, but not the double mattress. We had to ask for a duvet as this was absent in the double bed room. A stained old blanket was found in the duvet cover. This was replaced after informing the owner, but not with a duvet as we know it. We have stayed at Casas-del-sol in another bungalow in the past at the same time of year, which was superb. So we were disappointed. A feeling of updating is needed here. Ducktape to support the single bed is also a safety issue. The shower is also very much in need of attention please. A gap in between the shower and the floor was covered with 3 plaster dressings?? Rusty shower fittings most of which was removed by elbow grease, flash detergent and scouring pad. 7a is in a lovely spot, nice layout and patio. Just needs a little T L C Im sorry my review is not a positive one I can provide pictures.

Excellent villa within 5 mins walking distance to both the harbour area and in to the main resort. Very well equipped with pretty much everything you can think of that you might need for your stay. Great sized fridge with seperate freezer compartment, very comfortable settee area. Staff on site very friendly and the grounds are impeccably kept. Towels changed every other day and villa cleaned roughly twice weekly. Cant fault it at all and would definitely stay there again if we could when returning to Playa Blance. Highly recommended!

The resort of Casas del Sol is pleasantly situated and our villa was very private, with 2 nice double bedrooms and large well furnished lounge, with a nicely furnished patio. The resort also has a very good swimming pool. Whilst there is major work going on building the new harbour the noise levels were not too intrusive and had little impact on our stay.

Good 2 bedroom villa with excellent facilities, sat tv WiFi & air con. Villa with good sun trap patio area, internally everything you need, but could do with a freshen up decoration wise. Overall good accommodation in excellent location with well maintained grounds & pool.

Comfortable, clean and whole site was kept excellently.

This property delivers across all of its specification in the promotional literature. Don't be put off by its location on the complex. Although close to the external road, the siting is private, quiet and very relaxing. The bungalow is clean, well appointed and comfortable. Everything that is required for a self catering holiday is on hand and functional. No complaints, very impressed and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

It was clean and had what we required. TV great, cushions on sun beds need a good wash. It was wonderful having two towel changes a week. Outside furniture very comfortable. Big, big plus for me was the air conditioning. I now only look to rent those with air conditioning. Plenty of hangers . As usual the grounds and pool were immaculate. Building the fence without putting in either a gate or style is very off putting renting down that end. I’m not sure of the reasoning. Having to walk back on yourself is tedious and rather a waste of time.

Just returned from a very enjoyable 5 weeks in 7A Casa del Sol. Villa very comfortably furnished inside and on terrace and has everything you need. Terrace is a sun trap and very private with comfortable furniture. Excellent wifi and television channels including sport and film channels. Casa del Sol is a beautifully kept site with lovely gardens and is convenient for shops and restaurants. Pool is heated with plenty of sun loungers. Will definitely be returning to Casa Del Sol.

Stayed at casas del sol in 2016 for xmas and new year, decided to go back again as we had a very good holiday. Enjoyed it just as much. Lovely complex, excellent reception staff, extremely clean and very peaceful. Had a total chilli out. The bungalow(7a) was clean, tidy and had everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

10 out of 10 for everything in this property. Very well equipped and a lovely, sheltered patio area enjoying good sunshine out of the wind. It is well screened from the road making it quite private. (The next door bungalow was unoccupied during our stay but wouldn't have been a problem even if it was occupied). The property is on a neat, well kept development with a nice pool area and in a fantastic location, probably the best in Playa Blanca, being within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Port should you wish to take the ferry to Fuerteventura. Cannot recommend this enough!
