Ich wurde sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Gastgeber standen bei Fragen immer zur Verfügung, haben Wünsche bereits erfüllt bevor sie ausgesprochen wurden. Ich habe mich geradezu in die Familie integriert gefühlt. Die Nähe zur Mauer war perfekt, um diese ausserhalb der Touristenströme besuchen zu können. Aus diesem Grund lohnt sich eine Übernachtung vor Ort.

The place is so beautiful, clean and welcoming. Lily, the host, is really an amazing person. Is cucine is amazing and all is so beautiful.

Very nice owner of the hotel with good level of spoken English. Hotel is located in a vicinity to Great Wall entrance. Hotel is very clean and with cozy interior, great common areas, beautiful terrace on the top of the building with great view on the China Great Wall.

My family and I had an absolutely lovely stay. The homestay is affordable and the property is very conveniently located at the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall. Lily and her husband Yang went absolutely out of their way to accomodate us. The food they cooked for us was some of the best we had. I highly recommend the Sichuan Potatoes! My mom also had a bad knee and Mr Yang offered to drive us up to the foot of the cablecar. While all other tourists are doing a great trek to just make it to the entrance, we were cruising by! Their family also has a souvenier shop and give you affordable prices! I highly highly recommend!

Location was perfect (10 minutes walking to Great Wall ticket entrance) and the staff was very supportive and kind.

Booking.com included breakfast although it was not real but breakfast price was really cheap

the rooms are very cute and clean! the host family is absolutely kind and so helpful!! super close to the Great Wall entrance (10 min walk to the cable car that takes you up). the hosts helped us buy tickets to Great Wall and a bus ride back to the city (which saved us so much money). incredible view of mountains and nature (and you can also see a corner of the great wall) from the terrace on the top floor. also, do not forget to try the homemade dumplings and food!!! they’re incredible!

The room was nice and clean. Nice space clean and good size bathroom. The owner was super kind and helpful. The food was delicious. They have good selection of delicious meals. Their meal menu includes various meals from Chinese to western. 3rd floor roof top has a great view of the great wall of China. The most impressive thing was the owner's thoughtful and kind help for our journey to the wall. He even guided us to the wall entrance about a few minutes away and bought tickets cheaply than the Website. I definitely go back again.
