A lovely well kept home. My family was very comfortable in this pretty, peaceful neighborhood. A lot of great stuff was in close proximity too, so it was easy driving to the oceanfront, to shopping, and for meals.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The interior decor was amazing. So beautiful and comfortable, my family and I didn’t want to leave. They had everything you would need for your stay and more. The deck outback, and the landscaping, along with the lake was breathtaking. Our host Jay made us feel like we were part of the family. He even aloud us to check in a little earlier due to our early arrival in town. Though we were there only a short stay, We are definitely looking forward to our trip back in September, and will most definitely be staying at your property again. Thanks Jay, Your the Best!!

My group and had a wonderful stay, we spent quite a lot of time sitting outback in the gazebo looking at the ducks giving certain ones names. When we went out doing the day and came back in the evening, we would sit out back, having cocktails and enjoying the very quiet community. The grill was a plus was able to enjoy one evening cooking out. Overall we all enjoyed our stay and the quick responses for any issues or questions we had from the hostess. I strongly recommend this rental.

Thanks for letting us use your home. This is a very nice home. However, I do think some of the furniture just needs to be updated, mainly the bedroom furniture. I could not sleep on the Master Room bed, it was just extremely hard. Also, those futons are not for sleeping, they are just to hard. Other than that we enjoyed the openess of the downstairs area. It was perfect for family gatherings. Also, enjoyed the back yard with the deck and gazebo.

My family enjoyed vacationing in this home. Check in was smooth and easy. The owners were very responsive to my messages. The home presented better than pictured. It was not only clean, but had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Great community, Great neighbors. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful and comfortable house. I just wished the deck sitting area was clean enough to enjoy an outdoor dinner.

House is as it shows In pictures online. Sunken drop down level floors make for extreme tripping hazard. Step down is like 12” in many places. No dock...waterfront is more like nasty river with a drain pipe sticking out. Owner check you on camera all day...calls constantly to check in. Felt like we rented from our mom. Gave ya good recommendations that were awful. Had to re-book better sites after we realized. House does not sleep 14 unless you lay on the floors..we had 6 people and that is the max for sure. Unless everyone shares a bed like a hostel. Won’t book this again will look for a house in an area closer to the beach and a less overbearing owner . Thanks

Excellent Host and Comfortable Stay

Property was beautiful. I booked this for a small work conference. Had lots of space to use for meetings and smart TVs to put up power-points. Hosts were available for any questions.

We stayed here for a long weekend with a large group and it was perfect! The house is exactly as pictured and was super clean. The layout is great for entertaining and all being together as a group. Kim was very friendly and responded quickly. The house is in a great location! Only 15 minutes to downtown Norfolk, 10 minutes to the boardwalk and touristy part of VA Beach, and 15 minutes to the airport. Can’t beat it! Highly recommend staying here if you have a large group. Everything was outstanding . The home was large with four bedrooms and two and one half baths. The water pressure was good with plenty of hot water. The quality and finish of the interior was excellent , well kept and clean, the kitchen was very good , oven , stove, and frig, all good. The dishwasher was not great as it was hard to put in dishes on the bottom . My only complaint would be the televisions . They all had different services , for example , the living room had nexflix but not Hulu , the master bed room had Hulu but no Netflix . No espn and no channel guide , it took a couple of days to figure this out. I would strongly suggest a channel guide in eac room with a tv

It was a beautiful house. Plenty of stores nearby and the beaches were not to far away either. We had a problem with the ac and Kim responded right away. We loved it and would recommend the house to everyone.

We picked the wrong week to come it rained 4 day out of the 6 days, so we decided to leave a day early. Checking in and out was a smooth process, entry to the property was seamless, and hassel free. At check-in we found the property to be cleaned and stocked with ample clean linen, towels and kitchenware. The kids enjoyed the use of the game room, electronic games and we all enjoyed the free Netflix and Hulu children. We found the property to be a reflection of what the photographs showed. Some of the concerns we had were that the mattresses were little uncomfortable ,the various sunken levels around the house, TV channel selection on the second level in the bedrooms. The sunken levels made it difficult for our senior family members to freely walk the house, we had to pay close attention to downstairs entry hallway and family dining area. Maybe the sunken levels can be listed in the description so that future renters can plan for this. Second level TV's have limited channel selection in the evening and after a certain time nothing but informercials on every channel, not good for those who are night owls. This property is nicely maintained, bountiful supply of towels and linen. The house was centrally located and close to everything. Nice backyard area, a grill onsite would be a great addition to enjoy the backyard, although it rained the majority of our stay. Kim was great to work with and would work with her again in the future.

We stayed here with a group of family and friends and had a great time. With all the entertainment amenities, we ended up staying at the house at night rather than going out like we expected to do.

We came for a family get away! A beautiful house with lots of space. The kids loved it! Tons for them to do if it's raining outside! It was nice to have enough room for e everyone to relax and spend time together. The neighborhood felt safe. The house was very clean. The home owners are very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay at this location again!

We had a wonderful time with the contributions of this property. We were in the area for our 50+ Family Reunion and decided to stay over a few days to enjoy the area. We arrived at the rental on Sunday evening and had to contact property manager with a question. Our call was answered immediately. Upon entry into the property everything was just as promised. Quiet community, clean home, and everything we needed. We planned a seafood boil so I brought a big pot from home only to find one there. We were minutes away from the beach, fishing, shopping, and eateries. We had a great time touring all the area had to offer. On top of that we had plenty of room for our party of 10 to rest, gather together, and have time alone. Thanks Kim and Jay for a wonderful experience in VA Beach. We highly recommend this property!! This house and property was immaculate and as beautiful as it appears in the pictures. My family loved the spacious interior and the warm and comfortable accommodations. If you love to hear birds singing in the morning while enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck, as I did, this is the perfect place for you. All the special welcoming touches were unexpected but greatly appreciated. Our hosts were extremely gracious and readily available to answer any questions or address any concerns, and made booking this property very easy. I would definitely recommend this property, which is centrally located to the Aquarium, Zoo and beach to any family. Great getaway. We loved it and can't wait to book it again. Thanks K & J.
