Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und Mohammed stand stets für Fragen oder Unterhaltungen bereit. Er war überaus herzlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage war super nah zur Medina, so dass man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß dort war. Wir waren zwei Wochen in Marokko und dies war das Riad, das uns aufgrund der Gemütlichkeit und Herzlichkeit am meistens gefallen hat!

Mohamed at Casa Espanyola is very kind and went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed, safe, comfortable, and well cared for. He always had a friendly smile and was by far the most helpful host of any place I've stayed. He welcomed us warmly when we arrived and explained notable sights to see in Fes and things to do. He also checked in multiple times during our stay to ensure we enjoyed our time here. He woke up at 4 in the morning to walk my friends to their taxi to ensure they got to their airport safely and on time and waited past breakfast hour to accommodate me. Furthermore, Mohamed can also help you arrange trips and tours in Fes, including within the medina and outside of the Medina, including the beautiful Jnan Sbil garden, the door of the palace of the king, the streets of Jewish, the two castles, ceramic factories, and the tannery. You can also ask him about tours around Morocco, such as Merzouga, Meknes, Chefchaouen, and Middle Atlas. The beds here were the most comfortable beds I slept on in Morocco. The whole place was extremely clean and beautiful. It was a pleasure to stay here for our last two nights in Fes. The place is close to the main streets of the medina and there are many restaurants nearby.

El desayuno estaba muy bueno, todos los días nos sorprendía con desayuno diferente y muy auténticos. El desayuno siempre estaba nada más levantarnos, no tardaban nada en servirnoslo, además siempre nos daban la opción de repetir varias veces. Mohamed, ha sido una persona incrieble en todo estos días, nos ha ayudado en todas nuestras dudas y preguntas, además de aconsejarnos que hacer para conocer más la ciudad. Siempre estaba en el hotel para darnos la bienvenida y ayudarnos en lo que necesitáramos. También mohamed nos ofreció ayudarnos a buscar excursiones como por ejemplo la vista interna de la cuidad y de los alrededores, también nos recomendó muy buenos sitios para comer comida típica y con muy buen precio. Todo el hotel muy limpio y tal como se ve en las fotos. Repetiríamos si nos vuelve a atender mohamed!!!! Es un maquina y una persona súper agradable

Lo mejor de todo es Mohamed. Sin duda alguna es el mejor anfitrión de todo Marruecos y lo puedo asegurar porque he viajado mucho. Siempre nos ha tratado con cariño y familiaridad y eso marca diferencias. Se puede decir que es un !!!MÁQUINA!!!! Además nos consiguió varias excursiones con un precio brutal y transporte económico al aeropuerto. Me gusta ser tratado con tanta amabilidad. Las habitaciones están muy limpias y todo está muy bien conservado.

- La atención de Mohamed. Fue un anfitrión exquisito. Delicioso té de bienvenida y explicaciones de la zona. - Está en una ubicación muy buena en la Medina de Fez, cerca de la puerta Azul, zocos y restaurantes. - Camas muy confortables. Un riad sencillo, pero muy apañado y cuidado.

The host Mohammed was great, made our stay much more pleasant!

This was actually our second time at La Casa Espanyola and it was just as wonderful as the first time. We were welcomed by Mohamed, who was extremely kind and welcomed us with a delicious cup of Moroccan tea. We sat down in the middle of the Riad as he drew us a map of Fes to help guide us through the city. We could also text him on Whatsapp with questions if we had any, which was super helpful. After this we were led to our spacious and superclean hotel room (special mention for the pillows: they were very comfortable) and we were able to unwind before we explored the city. Location wise it was perfect, just a few minutes to Bab Boujloud which leads you directly into the souk. It's our favourite Riad in Fes as it is safe, comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was extremly kind and helpful. Definitely going back to this place :)

This is not necessarily a negative thing, but you can't park your car in front of the door. You can park down the street for 20 dirham, and from there it's a 2 minute walk to the Riad :)

Mohamed is a nice and kind person ,he could help you in everything ,he can explain you all the most important sites in the Medina, he propose for you tours with a guide and tour outside the Medina ,also he proposes tours around Morocco as for instance Chefchaouen, meknes ,middle atlas as ifrane azrou imouzzar ...also The desert merzouga Thank you Mohamed for everything

Impeccable

Nice place and very good breakfast. The staff was great too. Mohamed was very happy to share some tips with us about the city, drawing us a map with the most recommended attractions.

Be careful when parking because people that don’t work there will offer you help and then ask you money in return.

My stay with the family was perfect, the room is clean and very comfortable, nothing is missing. Mohammed from the stuff is very welcoming and always willing to help. Perfect quality for the given price. Highly recommended.

Mohammed was a absolutely excellent and a friendly host I ever meet. I was welcomed by delicious mint tea and be provided with recommendations on which places to visit in the city and best sights to see detail as it could. The breakfast was great and I would definitely recommend anyone going to Fès to stay here. I will definitely be visiting again.

Mohammed was very helpful, took care of everything, gave me excellent recommendations on what to see. The riad is very quiet, spotlessly clean, excellent air conditioning in the room, excellent breakfast. Excellent location five minutes from the market and the blue gate

The host Mohammed was a very excellent and a friendly host. He welcomed us to his Riyadh and treated us very well, providing us with recommendations on which places to visit in the city and best sights to see. The breakfast was great and I would definitely recommend anyone going to Fès to stay here. I will definitely be visiting again.

Very simple room in nice house with great atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff

-good location -very friendly staff who could help with anything you needed -local tips -good value for money

-for cleanliness (in the room) I would rate it 7/10 - we found one cockroach and the bathroom wasn’t perfectly cleaned either -doesn’t accept card or euro payments (just MADs) first they confirm your reservation with credit card but then you have to pay in cash

I like the hotel. Breakfast was typical and rich. Mohamed, the receptionist was very willing, friendly and gave us all the necessary information. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The host Mohammed is amazing, the room is big and comfortable good location and feels like if you are at home

The staff was very kind and helped us check in quickly! They are super helpful and told us what to do in the area and also said they could set up things like tours if we wanted. Really beautiful interior and location was really cool.

cant recommend the place! absurd bad wifi connection. during the night its 10 mbit/s, which works quite well, but as soon as there is another person using internet it just gets too slow. also the bathroom was extremely moldy, with a really bad/aggressive smell coming out of the sink. so the bathroom was not actually usable. they were unable to give me another room. do yourself a favour and stay away.

The stuff is really friendly, the place is nice and the room was comfy and big.

The only thing I would improve is that transfer to the airport are more expensive than other hostels/hotels (100D more)

very loud :( its room in the Hall of house so you can hear really everything all the day. they still sit There from morning until midnight so we Could not to relax or open the window. really nonexisting wifi / did not work at all

Great staff. Very helpful and friendly. Treated us like friends. Room was large and bed very comfortable. Good shower. Spotlessly clean. Near Blue gate, very easy to find.
