We stayed here as a family as we were attending a wedding at tunnels beach, four couples with a young child. The setting is incredible and only five minutes to the beautiful lee Bay and also five minute to the local pub ! The house is spacious and accommodated us well , the only thing I would say is only having one shower ( just a bath in the bathroom ) meant queuing in a morning but as I like a bath it wasn't a problem . Having an aga in the kitchen and a beautiful log burner in the lounge added to the cosy feel of the place . The house is perfect for young children as the grounds are totally secured with a gate and they can play outside to their hearts content . Would love to go back !!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is great, the location is wonderful and everyone is friendly. The cottage is a short walk to the local pub where Bill and Lucy (the hoppy dog) make you feel at home. Julia is a local cook that we hired and everything she made was delicious. If you are looking for a nice place to stay with beautiful scenery, this is the location for you.

Beautiful tranquil cottage meters from an isolated beach, great for exploring. A few meters up the path and the village pub with its own micro brewery and amazing organic wine list. The photos of the cottage don't do it justice, the setting is unique surrounded by 3 acres of formal and informal gardens. The patio was a delight and we enjoyed the sunshine all day and a fabulous BBQ in the evening on the quality Weber gas BBQ with great food from the local farm shop. The cottage is well equipped, we enjoyed breakfast cooked in the Aga, with all the utensils you could need. Beds comfy with crisp linen. Being with four teenagers WiFi was much appreciated. Overall location, quality and service were top notch!

Had a family Christmas here for a week and everyone felt very much at home. Expect relaxing family environment, not smart and modern. Everything works well and the house is nicely run by its agents. Recommended.

Myself and 6 friends stayed at the cottage and had just the most fabulous time. We had superb weather so sat out on the lovely patio area for alot of it just drinking in the stunning location and views, we also had a fab bbq on the provided gas bbq. The cottage was clean and comfortable with a lovely traditional cottage kitchen with mod cons!, the tennis court was also great fun, but we were not as fit as we thought we were! Literally 5 min (if that) walk up the path to the pub, we could not have got better. Thoroughly recommend.
