Friend and I were on a road trip and needed a last-minute stay. Luckily, we found this little gem! The host was quick to answer my calls, welcomed us even when we arrived late evening and showed us a spacious basement suite. We had the entire place to ourselves. Bed was comfy, sheets were cooling and we appreciated how quiet the place was. It isn't fancy by any means, but it's comfortable and worth the price. Will be back again!

Was clean. Host was good and friendly. Would have liked to have a TV, bottled water, glasses. Breakfast was offered for $10, which we were ok with....but was not available. Would have been nice to have complimentary coffee in the morning. We were promised a private bathroom...but...we had to share ! Not good ! No drinks were allowed in the room .

We stayed at 200 Holbeach location. Our Host, Helen, was most gracious and helpful, providing a last minute booking for us. She went out of her way to accommodate us and our needs. Highly recommend booking with her anytime. Price was good, too.

Access to the TV was not so good as we could not watch it as you would expect to watch TV. Apparently you need to connect it to your phone to make it work. We did not have the technology required to do that so TV was out of the question for us.

Clean quite room great host

The owner was extremely friendly and always available. She provided towels and responded very quickly to any questions we had. She was very welcoming. The house was really nice and the kitchen big.

For what it is, it's a little on the expensive side. The place itself, while a beautiful house, is cluttered with personal items from the owner. The kitchen was very crowded and not so clean, but at least easy to use and all the utensils needed are there. The room was nice but so hot that after stripping to our underwear and taking a late night cold shower to try and cool down, while sweating we started considering sleeping on the floor. The bathtub is well advertised but apparently you need to use it as a shower because they took to closing faucet away to prevent using it. The place is in the middle of nowhere, however it is perfect for relaxing as it has many hiked around and there is really good food too. The door is kept locked by a password protected lock, which is a little defective. We had to type in the password at times as many as 5 times before it would let us in They tried to convince us to leave our suitcase in the entrance I guess in fear we'd ruin the floors.

I had no complaints.
