Beautiful grounds and the house very tastefully decorated. Lots of seating areas that are very comfortable. Beautiful pool to cool off on hot days. The view from the balcony on the top rooms are stunning and really does set a relaxing mood. The aircon was a life saver and really makes the stay so much more comfortable.

Not a major issue, but I should have checked before I booked the room as the description states that the rooms have streaming services and it did not...the rooms had DStv and the common room has a TV that has steaming services...I wanted to rent a movie on Google TV for me and my son to watch in the room and then we couldn't...but it's not a major issue...it should maybe just be better explained on the description. Also...I know it states that it is a shared bathroom...but I did not expect the bathroom to be outside of the room...I would have chosen a different room if I understood, but that was my mistake.

Lovely linen and towels. Aircon was effective which was great since it was such a sunny room. We appreciated being allowed to check in a little earlier as we needed to get ready for an afternoon wedding.

The queen (Orange Room) write up says it has a private bathroom, but I guess our expectation of that is very different to the owner's. It is completely separate to the room, across a common use passage which is in plain sight of other rooms, the entrance and the stairs. There is also nothing to prevent other guests from popping in there when they feel the need as it looks like a common bathroom in the passage. This really didn't meet our expectation of such a highly rated guest house. No response from the lady who takes the bookings when we expressed our displeasure. She sent the manager to tell us that we could pay extra to change our room, although there were no other bookings at that stage.

Excellent service, very homely feel, Petro is amazing, the location is super feels like your in a secluded forest yet in the middle of the city!

Old-timey elegance meets modern luxury. The guesthouse is exquisitely decorated, very clean and welcoming and located in a very safe area. Communication with the host was excellent and everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Would recommend!!!

Parking space is a bit tight, but all vehicles could be accommodated.

The location was perfect,quiet...uphill...gorgeous🥰 The house as a whole is beautiful,My was spacious & very comfortable. Tha balcony,the view...the pool view👌🤩🥰

Only that I had to leave early for work. Will definitely be booking a longer stay next time.
