the room had a little kitchen, had a washer/dryer. felt like a cozy apartment home vs. a hotel room. would recommend for a longer stay

i wasn't aware that there is an additional cleaning fee every night, i've never stayed at a hotel that charged you extra to get the room cleaned before.

Beautiful period property in a quiet part of Bethnal Green, we parked close by really easily. The room was super spacious we had a one bedroom apartment it had everything you needed. My only regret was that we didn’t book two nights 😩

Very good location

Loved the room, was a great size. The building itself was stunning to enter. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was massive and really comfy, like sleeping on a clould. There was air con in the room which was handy for the weather and also being on the third floor. Decor was nice and rather cool. Bathroom was a good size and had all the toiletries. Room had a coffee machine and also a small smeg fridge, which was great to store our stuff for breakfast.

The room could do with basic upgrades. There was stains on the wall that were questionable. There was also mouldy sealant around the taps area of the bath. The showerhead needed to be replaced. The door to the batheoom was a sliding door, but don't think it was aligned fully as there was a decent sized gap when shut. Also the frosted glass - why aren't bathrooms private anymore!? Also, we got a service charge under the door - based on other reviews, I had expected it. Just tell reception you aren't paying it. It's incredible rude to add on as we had forked out 400quid for 2 nights already. Also don't like that it has Shoreditch in the title - it's Bethnal Green.

Rooms are a good size. En-suite very modern. Kitchenette with fridge and dishwasher is a nice touch. Stylish decor, comfy bed.

We had a lower ground floor room which meant we looked out on a brick wall. However, it was very quiet we didn’t hear anything.

The location is ideal for anyone visiting friends in Hackney. It’s easy to walk to Broadway Market, Victoria Park, Shoreditch…

This felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel in terms of assistance and services. We had some very confusing interactions with the staff, the air conditioning wasn’t working, outlets were broken in our friends’ room, etc.
