Great apartment with absolutely stunning views across Windermere. The apartment was clean and cosy with all the amenities that we needed. It's located in a quiet avenue but only a 10 min walk into the heart of Bowness. I would recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

We had a lovely 4 night stay in Bowness. The apartment was perfect for us, clean, really well equipped and the living room was very cosy. Plus it comes with superb views of the lake and hills. We would definitely recommend.

Brantfield House is located high above Bowness—on Windermere and the views from the living area are spectacular. I received good instructions before arriving and had no problems checking in. The apartment has two good sized bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a good living / dining area. We could not have asked for more. Just be aware that it is a steep walk from the centre of town if you don’t have a car.

Stayed with my mum and dad at Christine's place and was thoroughly impressed. Absolutely amazing view from the living room window. Loved eating meals there. Very tidy and homely. Well-stocked kitchen. Only downside was the hike up the hill! Only later did we realise there was an easier way up. Bowness is a lovely little town, very picturesque and lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Would definitely stay again if I come back!

Great apartment very spacious just like home , sad we did not get to meet our hosts . Being international travellers we booked apartment as we had been cruising for a month & needed to do laundry . The washer did not work & took 5 hrs to do a load & iron broken , just little things but important . Could not contact owners they would not answer the door .

Gorgeous flat on a hill over looking the lake with amazing views. The flat is spacious and nice and clean and the owner is very helpful and flexibel. A wonderful place to stay and can only be recommended.

Very well equipped kitchen. Nice living room. Spacious bedroom. We loves it and could have stayed a few days longer.

Flat was lovely. Perfect location in bowness despite the hill .... which kept us for. Lovely walk right on the door step too. Flat was lovely and homely with everything and more that we needed.

This was a great apartment. The views from the living room were amazing, clean, tidy and spacious. It was a peaceful place, easy walking distance to the centre and other activities. I would certainly stay here again.

Great flat, location and views are fantastic. Flat is very clean and comfortable. Bowness is just down the hill but the flat is quiet and away from the busy area. Highly recommended

Fabulous apartment with the most amazing views from the lounge window. Evenings spent watching the sunset over Lake Windermere with a drink and a book. Big rooms with high ceilings and very comfortable beds. Good shower with plenty of hot water. The walk into Bowness is relatively easy so long as you take the walking route suggested by the owners, rather than the steep car route. 5-10 min walk to the restaurants and shops. Very clean and fluffy towels. We will definitely stay again!

Beautiful flat with great lake view. Very central and easy access to everything in lakes. Inhouse dvd, board game collection is amazing. Definitely staying back next time.

Lovely bright ,clean with all the mod con and more .Excellent communication with the owner The view made up for that really steep climb to the flat..A word of advise try the bit gentlier climb up or down the road via Langrigge .road (believe me you knees will thank you lol )

Perfect short break in Bowness. Even when it rained we had the apartment to go to and relax. Feels like a second home with plenty dvds and streaming services to use. Thanks again for a great stay. Highly recommend.

We - a family of three - enjoyed our stay very much: perfect weather in a wonderful landscape with many opportunities to spend your time. One of our absolute highlights: the fantastic sunsets seen from our "room with a view". We felt very comfortable at the flat. Another great break in the Lakes at Christine’s lovely apartment. It’s like a second home for us now!

We really enjoyed our stay and could not fault the quality of the apartment. It's in a very peaceful location within walking distance of the Dales Trail. Please note that the road down to the town of Bowness is very steep and narrow but definitely walkable if you are reasonably fit.

The apartment is up a hill is tastefully decorated with fantastic views of the lake. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay a10 min walk down to Bowness and the lake and handy for Brent fell walks

This was our 2nd time at the apartment. It provides a much needed home from home experience. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable, however one small downside (if there has to be one) is the very steep hill which needs to be climbed unless you use your car. For us - it’s not a particularly bad thing as we don’t mind the exercise, however it wouldn’t be ideal for anyone with breathing difficulties and at night you would need a torch. The location overlooking the lake is perfect and there are many places to eat and relax and some gorgeous walks. All in all - we love this apartment and will almost certainly be back at some point in the future.

Our 5th time here and never disappoints. No doubt we’ll be back again next year!
