New flooring, etc. are nice. Can't wait to return next year.

Property is old and needs some updating but it was clean inside and close to town.

Had a great time

This is a very comfortable house with lots of room for our group to move around. The house was set with nice furniture that had some character, it felt like we were in someone's home and not a hotel, which is what we wanted. Plus it was right in town and a very short walk to Main Street. The yard and porch were a plus along with snacks and fresh flowers. Two improvements might be fresher coffee and a way to control the light outside our window (or have curtains that can block out the light). All in all, we hope to return to Happy Hollow!

The house is spacious and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment, games and musical instruments. It’s a very short walk from the center of town. We were all happy with the space. Communications with the property manager was easy and efficient. The checkout process was reasonable. Would stay here again.

We brought up a group of friends to celebrate a good friend’s 60th birthday. The properties central locale and short distance to town served us all extremely well. We were able to walk to town & enjoy the weekend!

Had a great time at Happy Hollow and although we had big plans to explore the area we ended spending most of the time at this beautiful property. The large grass yard with all the trees made us feel like we had our own private park. We will be back for sure.

We had such a nice stay at this home. Everything was perfect for our family and the house had everything needed for cooking. Super close to main street which is a must. Would stay again!

The property was very clean and cozy. Check in process was extremely simple as the door was open when we arrived. The outdoor space was wonderful, plenty for kids to do; swings and games. The pictures are deceptive as the house is quite large. There there 2 living areas and 4 sleeping areas. The house is an easy walk to the downtown which is charming. Highly recommend. Am already thinking of a return visit

The house and the yard were terrific. The yard is lovely and fenced in so our dog could run and play safely. The house is comfortable and everything worked perfectly: the heat, the wifi, the washer/dryer, etc. So nice to be able to walk to town, which is only a block away. Totally enjoyed our stay--in fact, we stayed an extra night.

I recently stayed here for a girls' weekend and it was fantastic! The house is within a short walk to Main Street, with plenty of things to do nearby. The yard was simply beautiful - we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the fresh air and greenery. The house itself was very comfortable and clean, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing weekend. Overall, I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a lovely setting.

This was such a fun location to ring in the new year! Little did we know that we were going to be hit by the storm of the century. The front yard filled up like a lake! The kitchen was well stocked, so we enjoyed cooking and baking during the storm. The one TV made for some interesting programming strategies but we were happy to have cable. Because we were traveling with my elderly mother, might we suggest grab bars in the shower? Walking distance to town was perfect. We would love to stay here during the summer. Very clean house, great amenities, wonderful location. We enjoyed a low key, relaxing time and the property was beautiful.

This is the third time our family has stayed at Happy Hollow. It has perfect accommodations for our family of 6 adults and 2 children. Lots of little perks to make the stay enjoyable. With the house within walking distance from Main Street Murphy’s, it allows us to enjoy the many wine tasting rooms and events Murphy’s has to offer.

This is a great property in a great location. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. The host left nice touches such as chocolates. We enjoyed our stay. There are a couple things regarding the master bedroom/adjoining bedroom that I think potential guests should be aware of. The door to the adjoining bedroom is too big for the frame and gets stuck on the carpet and doesn't close all the way. To get it most of the way closed required a lot of pushing which causes the door to make a loud creaking noise. The window in that room is very difficult to close and makes a lot of noise when you try to lower it, so it is not conducive to being adjusted at night. So these two rooms are not a great fit for light sleepers. We thought this would be a good room for our infant, but it was challenging to go in and out of the room because of the door.

This was the perfect space for a family getaway. There is plenty of space for the kids to run around and the house is a lovely size with everything you could need. It’s the location of this place that makes this home the perfect place, it’s far enough away from the Main Street that there is no traffic or pedestrian noise, but such a short walk that our three year old managed it every day with ease. It really allows you to make the most of all the wonderful restaurants and tasting rooms that this lovely town has to offer. It was also a perfect walk to the stream where the kids spent hours playing. The owners here were fantastic as well, very communicative and had lots of wonderful suggestions for us.

Our weekend was great. House was exactly as advertised. Clean. Great location. Comfortable beds. I would definitely stay again

4 bedrooms was good for us 4 ladies. Would be excellent for large family with great yard for play and great location. The bbq was filthy tho, should be cleaned for guests to enjoy. Floors are a bit lopsided but were good for laughs. Very well stocked bathrooms and kitchen. All in all, we enjoyed our time at the house.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay! The location is absolutely perfect - walking distance and so close to town, and then so quiet and relaxing. The home and yard are beautiful, and it was so nice spending time on the porch, in the yard, and in the home. There are so many touches in the house that make you feel so welcomed and at home - thank you! We hated to leave, but can’t wait to plan our return visit. We can’t stop talking about what a wonderful time we had!

We enjoyed our stay but wanted to let know that the kitchen faucet handle was loose and was that way when we checked in.

Pulling into the property, we were pleasantly surprised to see how secluded it felt, yet very near to the center of Murphys. The kitchen was very well stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, and cookware. The beds were comfy and we loved the small touches, like snacks and candy left out. Plenty of parking as well! Overall, we were very satisfied with the place and would stay here again. Thank you!

Ideal location to Main St. house has 4 bedrooms and could easily sleep 10 people. Horseshoes, corn hole, tree swings, board games, piano and guitars all available!

Everyone was thrilled with the property and our stay. The house was beautiful and very well stocked. Our entire group was very pleased and would enjoy staying there again in the future.

Owners were very responsive, we had an exciting holiday! Got caught in a little bit of snow which unfortunately lowered some trees and blocked our way out of the drive way but the owners had people out there prompt to help us. Cute property and the location was perfect, very lovely walk to downtown murphy's.
