Very close to the beach, amazing garden, nice view, very clean and cosy rooms, each day cleaning. Very polite and nice communication from the owners, all questions were answered and solved. Very nice vibe of the place, feels like home 💗

It was my first visit to Crete and I had a wonderful 3 days holiday at Minoica Beach Apt, it is the perfect place if you want to relax, but also to explore.
The property is located right on the beach and it offers sunbeds. Or you can sit at the beach-bar nearby, is called Heaven, expressing very well the sensation of beeing in heaven 🙂: a variety of drinks, delicious and generous plates, great serving, golden sand, relaxing ambient.
The rooms at Minoica are spacious, quiet, clean, equiped with everything you need. I had the second-floor apt, with a sensational view, you can see the sea from every corner of the apt (even from the bathroom 🙂).
The property is very accesible from the Heraklion airport (15 min by car), there is public transportation nearby, though I choose the shuttle that the property offers.
Beeing located in the middle of the island it is easier to explore the local attractions (natural parks, caves, defiles, medieval towns and more). For me the time was to short to explore, but I will return soon 🙂.
Amoudara town is a turistic place, you can find restaurants, bars, markets, rent a car, clinical assistance, shops and the property is 5 min walk of all this.
Minoica is a location that I strongly recommend, I already scheduled my next visit 😁.
But the most powerful atu of this property are the people, Emmanuela and her family, thank you very much for your hospitality, see you soon!

The apartment was very nice, with an amazing view over the beach and the sea. We loved to have breakfast in the morning on the balcony looking at the sea. It was pretty big and with all comforts. The staff was so lovely, (thanks again Emmanuela!) they welcomed us with a bottle of water and some fresh oranges from their fields. In the area there´s plenty of nice restaurants, from the fanciest ones to the typical Greek taverns, and it´s just 10mins drive from the more chaotic Heraklion. The property offer three free umbrellas and sunbeds right on the beach. The beach itself was not the best one in Crete but still nice when you don´t want to drive to Balos or Elafonissi and have a more relaxed day. In front of the property there´s a big parking. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The room was spacious and very clean. The hosts were very lovely. The property is situated right next to the beach - you can either take a sunbed at the property or go to one of the bars at the beach for sunbathing/swimming. Everything is near - shops, restaurants, beach bars, everything is max a 5 minute walk. We had someone refresh our room every single day which was a nice surprise! All in all, a lovely experience and a lovely family business!

seaside is really close! you enter the beach right from the terrace! this is awesome.
our Hosts were very nice and friendly and ready to help. we even received a bottle of wine when we arrived.
if you go to Amoudara, you should know there is a factory very close there, actually it is part of landscape with its black smoke…
First day we were really surprised to see it, so I think it is important to be informed :)
all in all it didn’t have any big impact on our 2 days stay, we tried to ignore it and enjoy beauty of nature and seaside :)

The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, big balcony, nice flowers in the garden. Being so close to the beach is indeed nice, however the beach itself is not worth it. The hotel has free sunbeds which you can bring to the beach and also 4 free parasols on the beach. The beach bar next door is quite good. It was surprisingly quiet in the night despite our room being right next to the reception and on the path of all hotel guests. The owners were friendly.
I guess having a room on 2 or 3 floor with sea view would be really cool - we weren't that lucky.
The location was good for us, because our goal was to spend the mornings on the beach and the afternoons in Heraklion, which is a 10 min drive away. In the vicinity there are plenty of restaurants and shops. No problems with parking.
The bathroom is very old and has horrible light, as if one is in a hospital. No mosquito nets and there were plenty of mosquitos! The hotel provides some chemical protection (for the socket) against them but we would have appreciated mosquito nets. The whole place is somehow old fashioned.
The beach is the worst we have been to in whole Crete - quite dirty and with "industrial" views. I would not recommend to spend your whole holiday there, but it is a good place to discover Heraklion.

Me and my boyfriend decided to go to Crete in just one day notice and wanted to stay near the beach just for relaxing. After searching for accomodation we decided to go for the one that got most good reviews.
Booking at Minoica Beach Apartments was really the best decision.
It is a family owned small beach residency and the host couple are so nice people. They were waiting for our arrival and were very helpful and accommodating during the whole stay.
The beach is really 30 seconds away from the studio apartment which we loved.
They had sunbeds we could use both on the patio in front of the apartment or we could take them out on the beach.
At the studio we had a nice balcony and I really loved the surroundings with beautiful flowers all taken care of by the host.
There was also a small pantry kitchen which is very convenient if you want to buy your own food and drinks.
The location is perfect and it’s a short walk to the “main” street with supermarket and lots of good restaurants.
We will definitely stay here again if we are to visit Crete in the future and I can really recommend to stay here.

Apartment on the second floor has nice sea view and is good equipped.
Next to the Apartments is a Beach bar Heaven were you can take breakfast, snacks and drinks. They also have good service on the beach . You can stay on the beach by the bar or by Apartments , they also have your own loungers.
5 minutes from the apartmens is the main street of Gazi with restaurants , market, pharmacy, bus stop and tourist shops.
On the main street there is also a medical centre were you can find a covid 19 rapid test point.

Nice location, right at the beach and Heaven Beach Bar, where you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well. You can take Bus No. 6 from the airport, Minoica is only 2 min. walk from the bus stop. Simple, but very clean rooms, nice staff. They also have a hairdryer, which was not listed on booking.com, but can be handy for ladies :) Room was just the same as it was on the pictures. It was ok for a 2 nights stay.
We received a ground floor room, balcony was very dark in the very corner with no view, right next to our neighbours's balcony with no separation. No privacy seeing they were sitting outside all day. You can hear everything from the staircase, as well. Wifi was very weak.

Beautiful, simple little place right on the beach. Rooms were clean, AC was good. Property was made more beautiful by the hosts gardening hobby. Husband and wife hosts were lovely people. I will return. Also close to supermarket and gift shops. Walk there n a few minutes.

Perfect location! Opposite to beach! It's like having your own private beach basically! Right next to amazing bar and restaurant! There's nothing you can fault this property for. Beach is slightly windy however view makes up for it.
Wifi can be improved. Speed is slow and poor though if you use mobile you get good reception.
