The property is spacious, wonderfully clean and is very well equipped. The fact that the kitchen is extremely well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired has already been written about many times. There are also plenty of shopping facilities nearby (there are others a little further away). If you don't like to cook, there are many possibilities to eat out, be it in Vilamoura in the harbour or in the golf clubs. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioners work quietly and efficiently. The garden is beautiful. It offers shady spots (too) at any time of the day. If you have a problem, Claude and Maria are there immediately, even on Sunday. We stayed for three weeks and liked the fact that the house and garden are cleaned and maintained every week, including new bed linen and towels.

We had a lovely time staying in this Villa there were 7 people and we all had plenty of room We needed a later checkout that Claude sorted for us without hesitation he was at the end of the phone for any enquiries we had however to be fair because everything was so good we didn’t need to contact him. We’ll certainly be looking at going back again and would definitely recommend this Villa for families to going with friends the location is just perfect Uber rides everywhere and very good prices or walking distance to the marina beaches and supermarket’s

This house, the location, the garden, the rooms and facilities, all were perfect for us. We spent 1 week an enjoyed to the max. Claude and Marie are very kind people and did their best to make our stay great! We can recommend this house to everybody who wants quality!

Casa fantástica situada numa zona sossegada onde o único barulho que se houve é o chilrear dos pássaros, permitindo o descanso e o relaxamento. No entanto está perto das praias de Vilamoura e da Quarteira. A casa é uma obra de arte, estando decorada de uma forma magnifica. Ao vivo a casa ainda é mais bonita do que as imagens apresentadas. A casa tem tudo para umas férias de sonho e se não bastasse isso os anfitriões, Claude e Conceição, estão sempre disponíveis para que nada falte. Fantástico.

We have just returned from a 10 day stay in this stunning villa. Claude and Marie were perfect hosts and gave us a warm welcome and introduction to their beautiful home and surrounding area. Nothing was too much trouble for them and it was great to know that they were just a phone call away should we need them. The villa lacks nothing and we've never been to a place that is so well stocked where the owners have literally thought of everything! Each room is decorated to a high standard and so unusual. There's some lovely quirky touches which we loved and gave the villa such a unique character. The gardens are beautiful with plenty of shade should you require it and the pool was a constant 30 degrees throughout our stay. Evening BBQ's were wonderful with plenty of areas to sit out and dine. We regularly walked to the local supermarkets which were a 10 minute stroll and when we needed to go further, Claude had left numbers for taxis, which were very reliable and reasonable. Everyone fell in love with the villa and although people say this all the time, we would definitely come back. Claude and Marie went beyond what normal hosts offer. We stay in villas frequently and the service and the villa itself exceeds anything we've ever experienced. The villa is spacious, sparkling clean and bright. The equipment in the villa was like going from home to home (and much much more). The location is a short drive from Vilamoura which sits on a beautiful harbour. It's a very quiet road in a prime residential location. We couldn't reccomend this villa and these hosts more. Cant wait until we book again. Thank you Claude and Marie for a wonderful stay!

The villa is finished to the highest standard with each room very well equiped, each bedroom had its own bathroom attached to it. The amount of equipment in the kitchen was amazing and much better than in previous villas we have stayed in. The gardens are immaculate with plenty of comfortable seating for both sunbathing and relaxing with a book. The villa is a 5 minute drive to Vilamoura and Quarteira so plenty of restaurants a short distance away. Came back incredibly refreshed after a weeks break. Claude was a very welcoming and helpful host throughout.

I was keen to ensure that the villa I booked was big enough to ensure we didn't get under one another's feet. I was not disappointed. Casa Karolina is huge & and is set in beautiful gardens with 3 large outdoor seating areas, (2 on the ground floor & 1 on the 1st floor). The living areas & the bedrooms are all big, so if anyone wants a bit of 'me time' they can take themselves off to their room or another part of the villa to be alone. The large open plan dining/lounge area is very comfortable, (the sofa is amazing I wanted to bring it home), however we spent very little time inside, the weather was lovely, so we ate on the terrace outside the kitchen & in an evening sat outside the lounge, playing card games until the early hours. The pool gets the sun all day, so we were able to use it at any time of day it was always warm. We hired a pool table & a table tennis table from a local company to add to our entertainment & there was loads of room for them outside. There is a massive modele continente supermarket 10 minutes walk from the villa. We did a big shop when we arrived & got a taxi back, but the rest of the holiday we just walked down for what we needed & walked back. We did walk down to Vilamoura beach one day, but it's a good 30 minutes walk and we didn't fancy it again in the heat, so next time we got a taxi & went to Falesia beach which is not as busy. There are loads of really nice restaurants at & around the marina, we didn't have a bad meal all the time we were there. The only thing that separates the restaurants is the service. The one's on the marina are sometimes so busy that the service isn't as good. Our favourites were the 2 Italian restaurants in the block behind the marina (Stracta & Don Alfonso). There are bars dotted around the marina & the block behind it, we had a wander & a drink before dinner whenever we went into Vilamoura & went to some really nice bars. It's easy to get a taxi from the villa, we called & usually one arrived within 20 minutes. There is a taxi rank at the marina so we didn't need to book one to return. The taxi cost between 6 & 8 euros depending on the time of day. We went on a boat trip in the 2nd week of our holiday which we all really enjoyed, we booked online but could have done it down on the marina. I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants to stay in a nice quiet area but still be close to amenities. We had a lovely 2 weeks, thank you Claude & Maria!

They explained all we needed to know and left us with contact numbers, should we have needed to speak to them. So far as the villa itself goes … well wow, it exceeds expectations of the photos. The interior décor is representative of the photos – tasteful, modern, fresh and extremely well kept. The bedrooms were all spacious and the beds so comfortable that some of us slept better than at home – which may have also been assisted by the individual rooms’ air conditioning units which we could all alter to suit.The kitchen was better equipped than my own; with every utensil anyone could need. There was a large gas range cooker as well as an electric built in oven and of course a microwave oven. There was also a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. In fact all the comforts of home whilst on holiday.But the lovely pool and especially the garden is where the photos do not do justice to the beauty of the garden with its various trees, shrubs and tropical plants. Absolutely lovely. The villa is in walking distance of Villamoura Marina, where we spent a few evenings. Obviously with young children we did taxi back and forth – which is where Uber comes into its own – something I’ve never used before but also well impressive. As simple as downloading the app, fill in various details and the rest is self explanatory; no fuss, and no language barrier. From the villa it was less than £4 each way. We also used Uber to drop off and pick up from Lidl Store once in our holiday, which was a bit more fare than that. The app tells you how much the fare will be before you book so no nasty surprises. Other times we would just walk 10 minutes to the local Continente supermarket or Pingo Doce. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxing, villa based holiday.Thanks so much to Claude and Marie.

Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber der sich vor Ort sofort kümmert und tolle Tips für Restaurants etc. hat. Das Haus ist mit seinen vier Schlagzimmern und einer großen Küche sowie einem schicken Wohnzimmer perfekt eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß und befindet sich im wunderschönen Garten direkt an der Terrasse vor dem Haus. Ein Grill und eine Außenküche machen dann alles perfekt. Vilamoura ist sehr grün und wird super gepflegt. Gärtner sind ständig am wirbeln. Die Strände sind toll. Die Golfplätze in der Umgebung sind der Hammer. Sehr empfehlenswert!

This house is amazing! It had everything needed for a fantastic family holiday. The interior décor is so stylish and modern - Claude & Marie have a wonderful eye for detail and were lovely hosts. It is even better than the photos on the website. The 4 bedrooms are all very large and comfortable and each have a unique theme (as well as the benefit of a great ensuite bathroom). The kitchen is really well equipped – I tried to find something they did not have but was unsuccessful . The outdoor garden area is very beautiful with a variety of wonderful colour – a great place to relax with a good book and I will miss my swing chair! There are lots of different areas to sit and relax outside including the first floor balcony so you can benefit from the great weather any time of day. The swimming pool is always warm too and the children loved it! We would not hesitate recommending this house and hope to return ourselves sometime soon

The pool is large enough to splash around in and, despite unseasonally cloudy weather, was sufficiently warm enough for our one year old granddaughter to enjoy.The Villa is in a quiet location but within easy reach of shops, beach, restaurants and the marina. We did not have a car and walked to all the above (15-30 mins).Claude was very helpful and was nearby if needed. In fact, when we had a minor problem with a power failure he came in 10 minutes to sort it out.A thoroughly enjoyable stay in Casa Karolina; thank you Claude and Marie.

Wir waren dort mit 2 Familien ( 4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder zwischen 8 und 12 Jahren ) Die Villa war genau so, wie von Claude beschrieben. Ein tolles Haus, es gibt viel zu entdecken ! Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung und sehr gepflegter Außenbereich mit einem wunderschönen Pool. Dieser hatte immer eine angenehme Temperatur, bedingt durch die dunklen Fliesen im Pool. Der Vermieter ist jeder Zeit erreichbar und in kurzer Zeit persönlich da, wenn es kleine Probleme gibt. ( Bei uns war nur kurzzeitig eine Klimaanlage in einem Raum defekt, wurde kurzfristig behoben ) Das Haus und der Pool war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es sind 3 Supermärkte in der Nähe ( ca. 3 - 6 Minuten mit dem Auto ) und der Yachthafen und Strand sind in 20 min. zu Fuß erreichbar. Aber bequemer ist es per Taxi, pro Fahrt ca. 7 - 8 Euro. Es sind viele gute Restaurants im Umkreis, wir haben fast immer sehr gut gegessen. Wir können die Villa allen nur empfehlen, viel besser kann man seinen Urlaub nicht genießen !

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Casa Karolina, We were greeted by Claude and Marie who were so lovely and very helpful. This villa is gorgeous, it has everything you need and more. The furnishings in this villa are of very high quality, extremely comfortable and very tasteful. We are a family of 5 and this villa catered for all our needs and more. All the bedrooms are very spacious and all have beautiful en suite bathrooms. Our children really enjoyed the pool as the water was always warm, they also loved the outdoor space and the little touches like the swing and hammock were great. There is great indoor and outdoor areas for eating and a wonderful BBQ area. This villa is immaculately clean with every modern appliance you could wish for. The location of the villa is perfect in a very secure area and extremely close to all amenities. We would highly recommend this villa, we are already looking forward to our next visit!! Ceci dit, nous tenons à vous remercier vous et votre femme pour la gentillesse, la disponibilité et l'accueille dont vous avez fait part. Alors quoi dire de la maison! la déco et faite avec un gout digne d' un artiste avec un thème: l' Egyptien "bien". Il ne manque rien pour passer un séjour de vacances parfait . Nous pourrions épiloguer longtemps sans trouver de défaut. Le jardin et décoré avec gout , rien à redire. La piscine et très bien entretenue, propre . En conclusion j'encourage ceux qui cherchent le parfait pour leurs vacances de venir chez Claude et Marie. We have have just enjoyed a fantastic 10 day vacation in Vilamoura at Casa Karolina. We were welcomed by Claude and Marie at their wonderful villa, which is just amazing. They were wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough for us. This is a great space for entertaining and perfect for up to 8 adults with 4 large double-bedrooms, all with luxurious bathrooms. There was only four of us in our party, which include my wife and two teenage children, so we were rattling around a bit! There are wonderful spaces for eating indoors and outdoors, with a great barbecue area. The pool is a lot bigger than it looks, the pictures don't do it justice. Daily pool temperature was 30 degree's, which was very nice. We spent most of our time either sitting around the pool, in the seating area on the veranda or eating outside. It was great. The kitchen is very modern with every conceivable tool, a large fridge/freezer and separate drinks fridge, which was well used! They had every conceivable kitchen accessories, dining ware, glasses and cooking ware - you can do some serious entertaining here! There is off-road parking with an automatic gate (remote included which you can keep in the car) and a secure front gate with remote electronic lock, so it's a very secure space. Queteria and Vilamoura are very close. You can be at Vilamoura marina within 5 minutes in the car. You could walk it if you are feeling very energetic, but I wouldn't try it in the height of summer. There are a number of supermarkets within a 5 minute drive, so stocking up on food and drink is no problem. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed our stay very much. The villa, located in a quiet area was above all expectations and beutifully furnished with interesting art to see in all rooms. There was plenty of space with the four bedrooms, each with its own modern bathroom. The kitchin had everything one could possibly need and more. Outside the garden was well maintained with lots of plants and bushes,plenty of sun but also areas of shade too. We enjoyed the pool and made use of the large barbecue several times. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and we can highly recommend a stay at thier villa.

We arrived 28/5/17 for a fun filled golf playing relaxing holiday (3 couples from Scotland). We had chosen Claude and Marie's villa due to the unique decor and location. And we were certainly not disappointed. The villa is amazing! A wonderful mix of various designs. Every bedroom is different and the whole house is so well equipped with everything you need for your holiday. The villa is immaculately clean and comfortable and has a relaxing atmosphere. Whether it's lazy days by the pool, eating lunch at the outside table, having a BBQ or sitting on the terrace relaxing the garden provides it all. Such a well maintained villa and garden!!! It's a 30 minute walk through lovely residential streets to the beautiful Marina which has many restaurants. Taxis back range from €5 to €9 depending on the time of day. The golfers thought the golf courses were fabulous. Especially the Vale do Lobo. The nearest supermarket is a 15 minute walk away. All in all a wonderful holiday in Vilamoura. A big thanks again to Claude and Marie who were very helpful and on hand nearby if you needed them. We will certainly be back!!!!!

We were eight Norwegian golfers who wanted to try out a new form of holidaying. Whereas we've previously only stayed at hotels, we now wished to rent a villa. Vilamoura is one of the premium golf destinations in Europe, and this villa certainly matched its location. It comes with four large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and each of which offers a unique cultural experience, with artworks and decoration from various periods. In fact, the entire villa is one big art exhibition, making staying here a truly unique experience. The fact that the host family lives here between groups of guests gives it a homely feel, adding to its charm. The villa came with all necessary facilities, all of which was in great condition. The outdoors areas were also fantastic, with several balconies and a large dining area with furniture, BBQ etc. After a week, we had absolutely no complaints. A big thanks to Marie and Claude for being such wonderful hosts and for making this an unforgettable experience for us all. We'll be back!

As regular visitors to Portugal we had high expectations of this villa and we were not disappointed. The villa is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The villa was very clean and has clearly been renovated to a high standard. The owners Claude and Marie were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. The pool was excellent and there are plenty of areas to sunbathe or sit in the shade. The villa is well located in a quiet area of Vilamoura - walking into the town centre is possible, about a thirty minute stroll although a car would be advisable. Plenty of places to eat in Vilamoura and in the local area and the best water park, Aqua Show is a ten minute drive away. For golf lovers there are numerous courses within a short distance such as Vilasol, the Old Course, Laguna, Millenium and Victoria. We had a great a great holiday and would definitely recommend this villa.

We arrived on 18th July 2016 (7 adults and a baby) and were greeted by Claude and Marie. Lovely people who couldn't have been more helpful and made us feel very welcome. The villa is exceptional having just been fully refurbished with quality furnishings and is immaculately clean. All rooms are spacious, air conditioned and the four bedrooms have plenty storage space. Outside areas are perfect for sunbathing and relaxing with plenty sunbeds and shaded areas with comfortable seating. The pool is excellent and was always warm during our stay due to it being tiled in black which retain the heat. Nearest supermarkets are five minutes drive and are very reasonable in price and have everything you will need. Claude gave us a 5% discount card which was a bonus. Nearest restaurant (La Villa) is a 15 minute walk. We used this twice and on both occasions our meals were very good. You will need a car as other amenities are a little too far to walk. The marina is the main attraction both day and night. Not rowdy one bit but still has a vibrant atmosphere. We tried a few of the restaurants and they were all excellent with maybe "The Haven" just topping the poll. The local beaches are also very good (10 minute drive) with beds and umbrellas available for hire. This was our first visit to Portugal but I'm sure it won't be the last and will most definitely book this villa again. The Davidson's (South Tyneside - England).
