Good location for visiting family who live in Deal. A chance to show our grandchildren our childhood haunts and see family they've not seen for years.

Accommodation rather dated and in need of refurbishment. However, as the bungalow is up for sale this is going to have to wait for new owners.

The place was absolutely disgusting, we had to clean before we could use anything, it smelt of damp ,the place was filthy. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months,the double bed springs was sticking up so it was really uncomfortable.

If you have extremely low standards and even lower expectations from a holiday chalet then ‘Dream on’ is the place for you! I spent a great deal of time writing out a list of issues with this property and thought I’d shorten my review considerably by running the list through the OED to find the one magic word to lead them all, the response; “HOVEL” If, by any chance you happen to be ok with that then also consider the owner/host. If you would like to get an insight into how you might be treated as a ‘guest’ then have a good read of the reviews already given, THEN, take a moment to absorb the comments he leaves in response. you’ll notice an obvious trend towards denial, fabrication and blame-shifting onto guests. Ask yourself, honestly, do you really want to be next?! My advice: AVOID at all costs. There are plenty of great, comfortable, updated, safe and clean chalets on St Margaret’s Bay holiday park, run by lovely friendly and honest hosts. Do yourself a huge favour and find one of them instead.

I booked this for myself and husband with elderly mum. It was ideal as all on the level for mum who uses a walker. Did not have an accessible shower, but was not expecting one as I always check what is available. And she was just happy that she would be able to move around and it was on level - perfect! A lovely confortable bungalow, kitted out with portable heaters for the cooler evenings, very cosy. Kitchen had everything we needed and there was a good sized fridge. Owners were great, had an issue with TV first night, but a quick text and all confusion solved! The area was perfect as only 30 mins from various places of interest, Deal, Samphire Hoe (fantastic walk, even mum managed with walker) Sandwich etc. Basically, great bungalow in a great location!
