A bit old facility and needed maintenance. Air conditioner was very loud. Too expensive for the standard, although it's the Key West. Very basic.

The room was WAY overpriced. It didn't meet even Motel-6 sophistication standards. $300 / night for this room is ridiculous. The lighting was insufficient, there were very few electrical outlets, you couldn't plug in the coffee pot, the microwave, and the mini-fridge all at the same time. the "balcony/patio" was less than 4' wide and immediately adjacent to the boat tie-downs. There was virtually no dining on site, but there was a single place approximately 200 yards down the highway and on the other side. Walking was NOT suggested. The furniture (bed(s), nightstand, small table, and dresser) were afterthoughts. We were told at check-in, room service is only available if you stay more than 4 days or by special request. The bathroom was very small. I believe the office staff went home at 6:00 pm because they called us while driving to make sure we were going to get there beforehand. Apparently, they hang lock boxes with keys for late arrivals. There is an "emergency number" for after-hours help.

Nothing good here.

First of all, This is not a Resort. The place is good for teenagers or someone for scuba diving and dont want to spend money... additionally, and more important, you have to check-in after 3:00 pm sharp, no way to get it before or leave your stuff there... and the worst, the check-out is at 8:00 am sharp, otherwise they will charge you anothe night.

Very clean and quiet room. Drinking the morning coffee in the balcony was one of the best part of my day. One of the best value accommodations close enough to Key West. The room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Everything that a traveler needs was found in the room.

There was nothing here that I didn't like. Maybe the parking spot could be a litle bit closer to the entrance of the apartman, but it was not a big problem. We were surprised at how small a portion we got for lunch at Looe Key Tiki Bar & Grill I do not recommend to go there for lunch.

I especially loved the spaciousness of my room with it's access to the balcony over-looking a canal & the Dive Boat. The bed I slept on - there were 2 in my room - was super comfy. Loved the little nook in the room with the table & 2 chairs. I was glad to have the coffee maker, fridge with freezer & microwave. I could store & heat up my leftovers from the attached Tiki Bar. Also nice to have the gas station with convenience store next door. I liked that the place wasn't located in a touristy area, or industrialized either. Low key for Looe Key Reef Resort!

The nightly live music, tho nice when I attended, not so nice when trying to sleep.

The cleanliness was of concern. Bed sheets smelled like another womans perfume as if it had not been washed just folded and stuffed into bag. Sheets contained long blonde hairs everywhere and pillows had stains. Upon check-in I was checked in by someone who had no idea what they were doing and were explained in front of me how to do the check in process taking about 10 minutes and on top of that ended up getting charged twice on my card. Last but not least due to the cleanliness of the hotels bed sheets my friend staying with me woke up in the middle of the night after sleeping for 2 hours on the bed with hives all over his body. That was his first time ever having an allergiv reaction to anything and we had to rush to a gas station and buy him allergin pills before it got worse. Then we couldnt sleep on that bed that night due to fear of the same happening again.
