excellent location , parking was easy to find close to the property

needs some care and attention to decorating in the bathroom, particularly the woodwork. No additional blankets for bed . Room could benefit from a standard lamp . No basic arrival provisions in kitchen. ( milk, tea, coffee etc)

Location excellent. The apartment was all we expected and very clean. Lovely feel about the place and area. Great cafes and pubs very close. No problem to park outside the castle. Host available should anything arise. Would definitely stay again.

Apartment was a lovely surprise, being so roomy and bright. We love the house ceiling, the beams and the general appearance of the place. The kitchen is very handy.

Only minor niggles… Door to apartment was difficult to close without slamming it. Door to bathroom did not close properly. Heating wasn’t on when we arrived and apartment was cold.

Excellent location , a pure hidden gem , we loved it

Lovely location near the Castle, clean and well decorated with good facilities. However, we booked this as a family of 5 and didn't realise there was only 2 double beds in the room so we effectively didn't have a bed for one child.....I'm assuming they were all 3 meant to share the sofa bed but this doesn't work for our kids and the apartment shouldn't be advertised for 5. The apartment is small but had everything we needed, the beds would have been comfortable (if we only have 2 children with us!) The bathroom and kitchen were both lovely and it had a lovely view. Parking for us was ok as we were able to find a space on the road and between 8pm-8am there are no restrictions, either side of that you are entitled to 2 hours so we were able to park 6pm-10am.

It's a lovely apartment but should only be advertised for max 2 adults and 2 children, or 3 adults - in my opinion the apartment is too small for 4 adults. There are 4 chairs around the kitchen table but they don't really fit and you would struggle to all sit and eat together. We did have an issue whilst cooking, I turned on the extractor fan and a lot of white flecks came out, I think it was plaster/paint/wallpaper from above the fan, it went all over the food I was cooking, luckily I'd already dished up most of it. We cleaned it all up but it needs sorting in case someone else ends up with a ruined meal.
