It had a nice cozy feel. Good room size

Rather cold - the radiator in the room didn’t work and we had to borrow a heater. The lighting along the corridor to our room wasn’t working. Bedside lamp on one side of the bed not working.

Really great room, excellent value for money located in a friendly rural pub

The location was perfect for our needs.

The restaurant was absolutely hopeless. There wasn’t enough staff had to wait an hour and a half from my food, and when I asked about it was told they were very busy even though the other two people on my table had had their food and had finished it by the time I received mine. I was told that I should’ve booked even though I was resident in the hotel and other people had to be served before me which made no sense at all. As the other two gets on my table had already had their food. Unfortunately breakfast was no better, no cutlery, no cups et cetera et cetera. Another of my guests had a leak in the room from the bathroom above, which apparently has been a known issue. Some of the staff are really nice, but others were just rude and grumpy . Really not a pleasant stay.

Great Pub atmosphere with good food

Room was small and hot, along with small shower. Room seems to take heat from a nearby boiler. This is not ideal in the summer.

Easy parking, room was nice. Central to where we wanted to be.

Very clean, very nicely furnished, lovely host who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, fabulous breakfast facilities

Been working away from home for the last ten months and have spent approximately nine month of those at the 5 Bells. Blazing fire has warmed me up over the cold winter months. The great Bar Staff (Sarah, Martina, Barbra, Finley, Harry, Louise ((mf)) and Abbey ((think its October)) have fed me beers with a smile until I want no more Roll on Summer so I can sit in the beer garden Great pub, great food, great people

really clean room and very comfortable have stayed a few times so cleanliness etc up to standard

There were no eggs at breakfast - given the shop is 200 yards away this seemed really strange. Other guests were not happy about this
