Decent sized house that comfortably fit a family of 10 ( we had 6 adults and 4 kids). Kitchen was fully equipped. Although not close to the city centre but it was 20 mins away and surrounded by malls and various supermarkets such as Continente, Froiz and lots of coffee shops and cafes and restaurants just mins away by walk.

The beds! They were small length wise so husband and brother in law had to sleep on the floor. Also could feel the springs of the mattress. But the owner has promised new beds will be in by Aug. We had cars so we had to keep feeding the meter every 2 hours and had to have change ready for 2 cars- wish there was some parking accommodation available. Also check in was at 5pm. We checked out of our other place at 11am as per usual so had to wait somewhere with our bags in the car until 5pm. 3pm or max 4pm check in is always ideal.

Location was good, it was next to shopping center and indoor food market both opens until late with different traditional food to try. Also owner of the apartment was friendly and communication was good WiFi was fast and good

1. It was very dirty. I have been to Portugal many times and it was the dirtiest place I have ever been! Kitchen was so dirty I didn’t not want to cook or put any food in the kitchen. All Bedrooms had smell of mold or dirty feet. Floor was not well cleaned for long time, outside balcony garden was so dirty we had to water clean everything. Baby chair was so dirty we could still see the food from before. Washing machine and dryer was not cleaned for a long time that we had to clean it before we use them. All our clothes smell of mold after washing. Some furniture had full of “stuff” which mostly need to go to bin(eg, old paper, old batteries, anything left from previous guests) 2. Back of the apartment is between construction site and old restaurant and there were many cats keep going around using the terrace as their toilets 3. One of the bedroom is on the roof where you need to go through very very stiff staircase 4. Apartment is generally small it is not for 8 people. Salon is very small you don’t know where to sit everyone. There are many stairs where you need to be careful when you have young kids 5. Very noisy. Every early morning you can hear the bin truck which will wake you up. No sound proof anywhere. Between the bedroom is the same 6. All the furnitures are old and some are broken. Feels like they found any cheap binned furniture to put them in the apartment

Great facilities, good location (near shopping center, food mercado), close to metro.

Lots of stairs ib the house, makes it difficult if you have lots of luggage
