Graham was excellent in communicating with me. This is so helpful as this was our first time to Scotland. We stayed with my husband’s brother and his wife and we loved the easy walk to town. The kitchen was perfectly set up and had everything we could possibly need to cook. It was a great location for visiting historic sites in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home nestled in a secluded setting while still being within walking distance of attractions and the train station. It struck the ideal balance between being tucked away in a peaceful area and offering convenient access to nearby attractions. We were able to explore the city's highlights with ease. The home itself was very clean. We were there during high temperatures and having 2 oscillating fans were very helpful! My recommendation would be to add additional fans so there is one for each bedroom. I would recommend this home to anyone seeking a blend of accessibility, comfort, and tranquility. With its proximity to attractions and the train it truly offers an excellent experience. Thank you to Graham for providing such a remarkable accommodation and for his outstanding hospitality.

My Family Stayed at this property for ten days . Everything that was stated on the description was accurate. The house was very clean and had everything that one would require . The location was excellent, very close to the town and close to shops . I would thoroughly recommend this house for a family vacation. 5+ stars . We will hopefully return on our next visit To Scotland

The house was modern, immaculate and very well equipped. It was within walking distance to the centre of the town. I would have no hesitation in booking again if I were to visit the area.

Overall, a great place to stay. The house was as described and pictured and had everything we needed (including fast internet). Parking out front, easy walk into town, and a convenience store just down the street.

The cottage is a wonderful place to stay! This home is so clean and very quiet. We had no difficulty finding the home and we were able to walk to nearby restaurants each evening. The proximity to the Ness Bank is very convenient for a stroll around and over the bridges. We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at the house. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, the house is cozy and comfortable, and the extras like the chilled wine in the refrigerator and a tray with everything needed for afternoon tea made us feel welcome. The location is ideal, since it is only a 15-minute walk to the city center but is located on a quiet, green side street.

This house was perfect for our needs a room each for the 3 kids. Lots of space, very cosy and warm and everything you needed for a few days stay. Would come back

Lovely house with great views as it is elevated from the street. Although accessible, the house has a very steep pathway leading up to it and when unloading the car which is parked on the street below this can be an issue for 66 year olds like ourselves. I think this might be worth mentioning on the website as the path is very steep. Having said that, the exercise did us good and we had a wonderful stay!

Margaret and Graham’s house was a treat to live in . It’s situated on a hill , and is roughly a ten minute walk into town ,which was very convenient for us .The aga, in the kitchen/ diner was so cosy and cooking on it was great .The living rooms gave us (party of six adults) plenty of room to relax in. We would have liked to have lit the open fires, but it wasn’t cold enough ! Thank you Margaret ,it was lovely to meet you .

This property was absolutely fabulous. Checking in was effortless. The property was spotless and despite being only a 5/10 minutes walk into the town centre, it still felt rural. Would love to return.

We were a little nervous regarding the booking as a result of COVID. However Graham (the owner) was in regular contact prior and during the visit to ensure that all was well which was very reassuring. For example, we were informed in advance of travelling that books, dvds and games were removed to comply with new measures and all house documents were provided electronically. Margaret (our local contact) was in touch throughout our stay as well and was very quick to respond at all times, particularly when we had a minor issue with the boiler pilot light. The house is very nicely appointed and was very clean. The fridge was spotless! The bedrooms we used were excellent although we were pleased we didn’t need to use the smallest, single room as it was quite cosy. The Aga kept the kitchen and dining area warm throughout our stay which was great for drying off when returning from a walk in the outstanding local area (we didn’t drive further than 20 miles during our stay and could have spent many more days walking without going further afield). The house is perfectly located for access to Inverness. We walked into town for a couple of meals at night and the walk back via the river was a delight (The Kitchen Restaurant and Mustard Seed were both very nice and catered well for vegetarians and vegans despite a reduced menu due to COVID). In summary, we would highly recommend this property. Really nice people and a house that offers plenty of space, a lovely balance of old and new, and a location that is perfect for visiting Inverness and the local area.
