Excellent location near the main train station, some bus lines, and the gloria elevador. Large apartment with lots of rooms to spread into. Having a washer was a huge bonus and drying on the clothes rack out back was fairly quick in the hot weather. No A/C but the rooms stayed cool and the host brought over fans at our request for the hottest days.

Kitchen cookware was minimal and very used. Would recommend replacing the pans as the nonstick coating was destroyed. Would not recommend to cook for yourself here, plenty of good places to eat out in the neighborhood.

Location central, clean and tidy, welcoming space, no problems with keys etc

Found it hard to sleep due to noisy environment, external noises ie. dog barking and internal noise ie from hallway and other apartments in the building. Double bed in front room very squeaky when you move in the bed. Limited hot water available when showering in am by 2 people Unable to access channels on TV

Ana was the perfect host -- good tips on things to do and see, places to eat. Nice thoughtful touches like espresso cups, tea, and jam for our first breakfast. Very responsive. Small apartment but our family of 6 fit very comfortably in the 3 bedrooms. Very clean, comfortable. Using the homeit app on the mobile phone for the street and apartment doors was very easy and convenient as well. Excellent location. Just half a block from Avenida da Liberdade. 2 Metro Stations about 5 minutes walk away. The Ascensor da Gloria funicular is just down the street. Rossio Square (and Rossio Station where you get the train to Sintra) is only 10 minutes walk away. Affordable dining options downstairs, convenience stores just around the corner.

Nothing major. But if you book a taxi, especially if you use the Booking.com service, double-check the street number that the taxi company has. For some reason, the taxi company's navigation service had a different street number (39) from the correct apartment address (68). Good thing for us that Ana talked to the driver directly and gave the correct directions.

What I liked the most was the location and also the fact that is very well decorated, clean and tidy. You have indoors everything you need for the stay. Ana is great! She showed us the apartment and gave us the physical keys, also teached us how to use homeit app, very easy and useful! 10 out of 10
