Whole process was a delight. House was great, well equipped and warm. Fantastic location.

The 3 of us were here for over two weeks, so we needed lots of space, handy food, and a nice neighborhood. This house absolutely fit the bill. A quiet spot just a block from walks along the canal, a grocery just a block away, the choices of the Angel "superstores" a 10 minute walk away. The street is double wide, so air and sun abundant. We really liked having 3 separate floors so we could be together in the oversize kitchen/dining room or in the equally spacious living room/study. But also time apart in separate floors and bedrooms, The sweet garden view gave nice air as well. Our hosts were on top of every question we had, and restaurant delivery suggestions and options were plentiful when we didn't want to cook. We really felt like locals in London, rather than just tourists.

We so enjoyed our stay; house was welcoming and well equipped - the photo of the blackened fireplace doesn't do it justice. The location near the canal was perfect. Our grandchildren loved getting to the tube via a canal full of interesting houseboats.

Location was perfect. Just outside of the tourist zone so that you could enjoy the neighborhood but close enough to easily see the sights.

4 adults stayed in this very nice traditional London home. The neighborhood was perfect and located close to the bus line that took us to the tube stations in the area. 3 bedroom 2 bathrooms worked just fine for us. Ms. Howard was responsive and very easy to work with.

We enjoyed our stay and felt the house was adequate for our needs. It’s in a convenient area of London and taking the tube to all the attractions we wanted to see was very easy. Our only concern was the house was not very clean. I notified the owner and she offered to have the cleaner come back but I declined I did not want this person there if we weren’t. I myself did some cleaning in the kitchens and bathrooms to meet my satisfaction. Also they do not supply face cloths or hand towels which I thought was strange but maybe that is not the British way. Other than that it was comfortable and provided a place to rest after a full day of walking and exploring. I would recommend this property

Everything about this rental property is excellent. The location in Islington near the canal was wonderful. It is conveniently near restaurants and shopping. Guests are encouraged to use all the facilities including laundry. The owner was prompt in answering any questions and indeed anticipates most questions in her information. The kitchen is excellent; the bedrooms comfortable. Highly recommended all around.

Loved being near the canal and seeing all the activity. House was very comfortable and kitchen with dining area was super gathering spot.

This is a fabulous location! Nice to walk along the canal and short walks to tube, restaurants, pubs, bakery, butcher, markets, etc. The property owner was great to work with. Our only complaint was that there was laundry in both the washer and dryer when we arrived and as we had planned on doing laundry there (we were on the road for 2 weeks by that point) it was a bit of a hassle as we didn't know what to do with the wet laundry. The owner was apologetic and said she'd arrange for someone to pick it up.

The property was a great location for us. We enjoyed the garden across the street and the walks on the canal. Easy access to the restaurants and shops in the area.

Everything was great except for the Construcion noise (very early in the morning until afternoon)

Glad we found this great place to stay for our weekend away in London. Bedrooms were all clean and towels provided for our stay. Lovely social spaces in two areas of the House - living room and kitchen/dining room area. Three bedrooms, with a lovely front bedroom over looking the main road. Property owner was very welcoming and kept in contact via email, to answer any questions before and during our stay. I was impressed with the support to advise us on the local area, and information about the property arrived in plenty of time to organise our weekend. The welcoming touches, such as the flowers and bottle of wine was also a nice thought. I would recommend this property for its location in Islington, only a short taxi from Liverpool st station.

The house was welcoming and very comfortable. It had all we needed for our stay. Our three almost teenagers were very impressed with the space, and my Mother was too. Access to shops, restaurants and transport was great, and we loved all the green spaces locally and especially the canal walks. It was a great base for our week in London.

We enjoyed a comfortable and convenient trip to London staying at Diane's house. The receptions and large kitchen-dining room gave parents and young-adult children plenty of room to spread out. The fifteen-minute walk to the Tube was along a lovely canal. From the lengthy, pre-stay letter of instructions for the home and tips for the surrounding area, to the welcome chocolate and wine, to the response to a faulty light, Diane was an attentive and responsive host. We would love to return to London and her townhouse!

We needed a place to stay for family and friends meeting for a concert nearby. The house with its great kitchen/ dining/ sitting and office area plus 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was just what we needed. The owners are easy to deal with and make the experience effortless. The area is very quiet with easy access to Islington, the canal for walks to nearby markets and buses/ tube. We caught a bus not 5 minutes walk way all the way to Aldwych for a show. Recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed as a family of three generations and found the layout worked really well for us. The kitchen/diner is very spacious and we spent a lot of time in that room just relaxing and enjoying the welcome gifts but had the bonus of a separate lounge as well. Diane was very prompt at dealing with queries and responded quickly by email from the initial enquiry. Damage deposit was also returned promptly. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was our second visit to Arlington Avenue. The house is a perfect base to visit London as it is in a quiet area but within easy access of Upper Street and all that Islington has to offer. Public transport into Central London is also close by. The house is extremely comfortable with wi-fi access and many other attributes which make it feel like a home from home. Thank you Diane for another successful London visit.

A lovely experience, every facility was provided including wine and chocolates on the kitchen table on our arrival. Good wifi and hifi . Flat screen tv and the radio was tuned to radio 4 , The property was clean and the landlady was very helpful to our every request. We used the house as a base for our daughters wedding and the morning after it was lovely to go for a walk around the well maintained small park opposite the house and the nearby regents canal.

Diane's place is fantastic. We booked it for my wedding so that my mum and dad and bridesmaids all had a base close by to our venues. The location was perfect, close to upper st/restuarants and everything we needed. The house is great, espeically the open kitchen diner which is perfect for families/groups to socialise in and kitted out with everything you need. The garden is beautiful too. Rooms are spacious - x2 bathrooms are very much needed for a house of this size so was a relief when we all had to get ready in the morning. What was great is all the little touches that Diane organised including our welcome note/treats and a neighbour to check in on if we needed anything. Diane was very flexible on all our travel plans/arrival and departure times which was so helpful with everything else that i had to organise - thank you! We couldn't have asked for more Diane and would recommend everyone to stay in your pad in Islington. We hope to return!

We planned the visit, to house our bride, bridesmaid, mother and father of the bride. It's a perfect location for islington registry office. We particularly loved the kitchen diner, we had an open house Sunday, it was perfect with lots of room for everybody. The booking process was fast and efficient, as was the return of our deposit. The house was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Particularly lived the welcome gifts left for our bride. My husband left his iPod in the bedroom, it has just been returned via royal mail. I cannot recommend the house enough, thank you Diane for a perfect stay.

We were a group of 6 girls and really appreciate our stay in Diane's house. It is so difficult to find a 3 bedrooms + 2 bathroom place in central London. Great location and cosy house. We may come back again to enjoy the little garden next time!

The property was as listed and clean, linen and towels provided were great. The house was ideal for 6 females enjoying a weekend break in London. We travelled into London central for planned visits to the Ice Bar and shopping, the local tube station was Angel about 20 mins walk from the property. We had a lovely meal in Desparado and a snack in Pizza Express both reasonable prices. We would reccommend this property.

Property was great, perfect for our family. Location was perfect, quiet. Location was great, tubes and buses close by, loads of eateries etc. I can only say it was 5 star.

The house and the owners were great. Perfect gem down by the canals in Islington. The owners set us a great letter ahead of time and were a joy to work with. The house was spacious, comfortable and had a great location. We hope to stay there again!!!!!!!!
