This French inspired Apartment was a perfect base for our Montreal stay, as a family of 4 adults. Andre was a very hospitable and friendly host who made us feel extremely welcome, and helped us with our delayed arrival. We loved the balcony and people watching from it. The location was full of restaurants, bars and food shops for all you need. Would highly recommend, and will return one day.

My husband, two adult sons and I visited Montreal for a wedding and stayed in Andre-Bernard’s apartment. The three bedrooms are large and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more…I didn’t know there was such a thing as a steam oven until I stayed here. My favourite sitting spot was on the balcony overlooking the street…you feel hidden in the canopy of the tree while you gaze down on the activity in the street. But don’t be concerned about noise as we found the unit quiet and with the air conditioning very comfortable. Everything you need is within 2 blocks of the apartment, food, bakeries and restaurants, a park and Bixi bikes. We loved it here and will stay here again on our next visit.

This was a lovely place to stay during our visit to Montreal! We loved the neighborhood, and the property was clean and comfortable. It was also an easy walk to the metro, and from there easy access to sites around the city. Hope to stay here again!

We had a fabulous 5 days in Andre Bernard’s superb apartment, located in the super leafy, and quiet residential Mont Royal district. It is convenient for wonderful cafes/restaurants, buses and metros. The apartment itself is incredibly well kitted out, is very comfortable, and has two balconies where you can watch the world go by. Nothing was too much trouble for our host - he was most kind to us and gave us so many good suggestions for places to visit and cafes/restaurants. We would highly recommend this property, and we would love to return if we’re ever back in Montreal. Huge thank you from us all.

Beautiful location -- leafy and remarkably quiet -- owing to the extensive use of the bike lanes and comparatively low car/truck traffic. Many delightful stores and restaurants close by. Close to Metro and city bus lines going to the old town and various attractions. Extensive kitchen outfitted with everything you need and more. Andre was extremely hospitable and tolerant of our spotty French. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had such an amazing stay at Andre Bernard’s apartment! The size of the flat was perfect for a family stay (my husband, son, girlfriend and myself.) When we didn’t get our caféine beverages from the many excellent coffee shops around, we enjoyed making them ourselves from the sophisticated machine. We loved having our breakfast on the balcony with the best croissants ever from the pastry shop (rhubarbe), down the street. Their cakes are also to die for. Local delicious food stores are plentiful (cheese, butcher, vegetable etc... )We stayed 8 days and spent some of them just hanging around the neighborhood, absorbing the very chill atmosphere! It has the vibe of a small town, people hanging out, kids walking to school. I’ll definitively be coming back!

We loved Andre-Bernard's space! The big bed was super comfortable and the location could not have been more perfect. The apartment was clean, thoughtfully arranged and beautifully decorated, and ready for us earlier than expected. And the street outside was quiet and peaceful even on the weekend. A great time all in all!

Andree met us at the curb at his front door. He helped unload our car and then even helped me by finding a parking spot since it is street parking. The spot was so close that we left the car there the entire time we were visiting. We walked everywhere! There are shops and places to eat all along the street. I would highly recommend a food tour! So close to everything and the Metro is a few blocks away. The place is just as pictured. Our favorite part was the 2 balconies! So fun to sit and people watch. This was our second time in Montreal, but I will definitely book this place if I am ever visiting again!! And just ask him for suggestions. He will not steer you wrong!

The apartment is on the middle floor of a typical Plateau 3-story brick building, with large windows, balconies, wood floors. It's been renovated with top-of-the line kitchen appliances, new bathroom, well-insulated windows, etc. It's comfortable, bright, and quiet, despite being in the heart of a vibrant and walkable neighborhood. The host is extraordinarily kind and warm. Within a two-minute radius, one can find great food shops and one of the best pastry shops in Mtl - Rhubarbe. Hard to do better in this wonderful city.

We had everything we could possibly need to cook family meals together and relax the apartment. The neighborhood is bursting with great restaurants and cafes, shops of every kind. Easy access to transportation so sightseeing everyday was easy. The apartment is light and airy and the host thoughtful, generous and so helpful. We were welcomed warmly, given everything we needed to have our adventures in comfort. We will return whenever we come to Montreal.

We loved it from the moment we stepped inside - with almost a feeling of being in New York’s Greenwich Village, it’s a comfortable space, fantastic kitchen with top of the line appliances (which host Andre explained fully); two balconies which we didn’t get to use at the end of March, but we could imagine the one at the front to be the perfect spot to enjoy an espresso and watch the people go by in this lively, vibrant corner of the city; the other off the kitchen would afford a more private outdoor space. Andre really was the perfect host - extremely helpful, flexible and considerate. We followed his advice on places near by - boulangeries, patisseries, coffee shops, and more. How to navigate the metro and parking on the street. We had a wonderful four days from our cozy base in the Plateau and felt fully embraced by the great city of Montreal.

We were not prepared for how great this place was. It is in a great location- short walks to restaurants, grocery stores, a good bakery and cafes. The gourmet appliances in the kitchen offer endless options for staying in.

This was by far the best place I've stayed in. My friends and I felt beyond welcome and safe by the owner along with his great recommendations on where to eat or see. On top of that the home is absolutely beautiful with a great view to enjoy a coffee or a meal on the patios. I would stay here again for sure!

The location of this property makes it perfect to really experience Montreal. The patio overlooking the peaceful street has a very European feel and is very relaxing. The home is well appointed and quiet. Made is a great host who is there to provide recommendations and help with the check in process. We had a great time and will turn for sure.

This was our second time staying at André-Bernard's place, and we feel quite at home there. We appreciate the cleanliness of the space; the fact that it's well-appointed in terms of amenities; its walkable location that is close to transit, great restaurants, groceries, Laurier Park, etc.; and sitting on either of the two balconies on nice days. The cook among us enjoys making meals in the thoughtful, well-equipped kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

This was the perfect stay! Andre was a wonderful host, informing us of all the best restaurants and places to visit. Groceries, liquor store, restaurants, delis, and cafes all within a short walking distance. So enjoyable to enjoy a drink and people watch from the two balconies. If we have the opportunity to visit Montreal again, I will desperately try to stay here!

The property is very well located with grocery, restaurants steps away with train and bus stops within easy walking distance. Andre is an excellent host who goes out of his way to make your stay pleasant. When in Montreal, we would not hesitate to stay at Andre's apartment.

Great place great location great host!!

My family (4 adults and one four year old) just stayed at this lovely apartment for over a week. The apartment was a great home base for our vacation. The actual apartment is charming, clean, well appointed, and comfortable. It provides all the comforts of home, from a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, to balconies off of the kitchen (perfect for breakfast) and the living room (great people watching). The location is ideal. The bus is a 3 minute walk away, the Laurier metro station is just down the street, and there are two Bixi kiosks within two blocks. Most major tourist attractions are within a 30 minute radius on public transit. There are several parks with playgrounds nearby. The supermarket and pharmacy is a 5 minute walk away, and there are also a fruiterie and a fromagerie, as well as many shops and restaurants on Laurier. André-Bernard is a gracious host and I would not hesitate to rent this property again should I find myself returning to Montreal. (Which I very much hope I will!) I have already recommended this property to a colleague who travels to Montreal to visit family.

Ideally located in the plateau section of Montreal, close to many boutique stores, pubs and restaurants. Nice kitchen, very well equipped. Coffee machine was well used every day. Front and back balconies for al fresco dining and people watching. Excellent stay

Very nice and clean apartment located at Plateau Mont Royal. Everything inside is exactly as described. André-Bernard is a great host.The place is very close to metro station. Leisurely walking will take you about 15 minutes. With faster pace it usually just 10 minutes from door to actually getting into the train. After that it's 10-15 minutes ride to downtown. Our rental car was parked on the street all the time and not used as metro turned out to be much more convenient.The neighborhood is very nice with lots of shops around.We really enjoyed our stay here.

This house was very clean and was just as described. Andre was a great host and made everyone feel at home. He was very helpful with the neighborhood and gave great advice on where to go and eat. He lives upstairs and is very easy to get in touch with if any issues arise. The neighborhood is very easy to walk and has markets and great places to eat everywhere. I would recommend this property to anyone going to Montreal. I will be staying here again my next visit to Montreal.The house is a very short walk to the metro and getting around town is very easy. The house was perfect for our every need. We had 4 people in the house and it was plenty of room for all of us.Awesome place to stay with an amazing host. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
