Very nicely decorated, great facilities, great location.

A couple of minor issues with shower and air von that were both resolved easily.

It was a very spacious and well equipped apartment, exactly like the pictures. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were very good. It was very quiet at night and there was a nice city view from the balcony which overlooked the garden. You can also see Castelo de S. Jorge from the front door. There is an outdoor pool which we didn't use as access is not directly from the apartment, this was not an issue for us. Plenty of small shops located near by also. It was about a 5 min walk to a larger supermarket near the Tram 28 stop and Martim Moniz Metro station is close by too. There is no luggage storage in the apartment block but there is Bounce Luggage Storage outside Rossio Metro Station (€6 per day per bag) and also lockers in the station.

Very hard to dislike anything with the apartment. It is up a steep hill which may not be suitable for families with small children or older people. But Lisbon is built on hills so its something that you expect here.

Casas da Baixa is a lovely well decorated apartment in a great location of Lisbon. Many sights are within walking distance. The west facing patio overlooks a garden area with the pool so late afternoon time relaxing is perfect. The apartment although in an older building is in excellent condition. There are several small convenience shops and patisseries in the area. Checkin was easy. The main bedroom has a Juliette balcony and king bed., twins are in the second bedroom but are not able to be separated.

It would have been good to be able to separate the twin beds. There was confusion about paying the tax before the property would send entry information. I think this was a miscommunication from Booking.com. with the Property owners and required several messages, proof with screenshots etc. Booking had requested the payment, I made it, and then property contacted me stating that I had not.

The location was even better than we expected. The flat was within walking distance from a lot of top sights as well as fascinating, meandering streets of Alfama.

Great location: close to the center, public transport, shops, restaurants. Very quiet and peaceful in the evening and night. The apartment itself is amazing- it is spacious, very clean and well equipped. The hosts are fantastic- quick responses to all questions, clear instructions, very straightforward check in and check out.

Would be great to have basic things like salt, pepper and dishwasher tablets. We have left some of these things at the apartment, hope the next guests can use it :)

Very easy check-in location. Location is great. People should be aware, like a lot of Lisbon, the street is very steep. Uber is super cheap in Lisbon and we used that a lot.

Some ice trays in the freezer would have been nice

Having the pool and a balcony was a bonus. Especially as outside space is often difficult to find in a city. Beautiful, clean and secure apartment. Perfect for friends and family. Would definitely recommend.

Only drawback was the access to the pool. Had to go out our apartment block into the street and enter garden area through a block just around the corner. However there was a shower and toilet at the pool which was spotless and means you can be at the pool for longer period.

Clean and spacious. Quiet location. Enjoyed the balcony, garden and pool. Comfortable beds. Good storage space. We liked the coffee maker and appreciated the 4 coffee pods. ( But we had no idea how to buy more of these as the original packaging was not available) Good communication with the owners when needed.

Having only one key was problematic as our 19 year old son often had his own plans to see friends in the evening. The pre arrival information offers towel and sheet change and garbage removal , every couple of days as it was part of the price , but this did not happen . This was not a problem but should not be offered, if it is not available. We did find clean towels in the cupboard. Providing more than one dishwasher tablet for a one week stay, would also be appreciated.

We loved the property, including the flat and yard with pool. The view from our deck was amazing and we enjoyed morning coffee and evening wine out there daily. The minimalist stylish decor made it particularly charming and easy to relax in.

The neighborhood was a bit tricky to navigate and our initial route to the house walking via GPS gave us a misimpression about the neighborhood. However, once we were familiar with the best routes down and up the hill to restaurants and the metro we felt very comfortable. I'd recommend taking a Taxi or tuk tuk for your initial trip to the flat.

Loved this apartment. Great size, and the availability of a pool was a real bonus. Location good, and close to all the activity in Lisbon - with easy access to team, and metro.

Really big, comfortable for 5 persons. Infrastructure is good, easy access to underground, tram 12 and 28. Never met the owner, still everything performed smoothly, communication was OK. Terrace is wonderful.

Neighbourhood is just awful, dirty, stinky. Thought will be good located near to the centre, but it was full of weird people, that ruined everything. Many steps on streets, if your knee hurts do not choose this accodommation.

Beautiful and spacious apartment with very comfortable beds. More than enough space for the 6 of us. Host was very attentive.

Could've used a microwave to reheat food but we made do with the oven. Some fixtures seemed to be coming loose, just minor inconveniences. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

The location was great and the apartment is bigger than it looks on the photos. The balcony/terrace was much bigger than I expected. The flat is well furnished and spacious. Check-in was easy and I liked not having to meet the owners, just get the key from the key safe. A great place to stay

The pool wasn't available and we hadn't been pre-warned about this. That was a big disappointment, because although the weather wasn't very hot, some of us would have swum and felt we should have been told there was no access to the pool. I would have preferred a feather pillow and duvet, I found the bedding a bit thin, but I know some people are allergic to feathers.

I'm a genius users of Booking and this was one of the best appartments ever!! Luxury appartment in the center of Lisbon. Great facilities, decoration, confort, space... All was perfect.

I could have booked more nights :) I would like to book it already for my next travel to Lisbon, but it's full booked! There's nothing special I didn't like or because it was expected or because there's nothing they can do to change.

The apartment had very few towels, and none for the pool. Also no cleaning supplies.

This is not a great location for a family with younger children as the area, although going through gentrification with ongoing refurbishments, and being close to the center, is a bit shady at night. Also parking is very difficult if you come by car (closest public parking is pretty far away).
