Great accommodation and garden surrounds. Requires some TLC to enhance for contemporary guests. Considering rates for home, disappointing to cover furniture /tables with cheap plastic and carpet square over main carpeted living room. This implies lack of trust in guests. No basic bread or cheese boards, very few modern utensils for food presentation in-house, very basic at best. Few matching plates or crockery. Magazines from 2001-2011 on tables. If trying to offer modern ambience then audit/ updates of amenities required. Garaging and front entrance door all locked which if hot or inclement weather is not user friendly. In particular if an emergency, no front door access could be problematic. Overall large comfortable floor plan with good bedrooms and bathrooms for large family or friends.

Our group - 8 long term friends - had a wonderfully relaxed and comfortable getaway in this beautiful home, so well equipped, peaceful and spotlessly clean. We will definitely be returning.

We loved the property, well maintained and spacious. Garden beautiful, can imagine how wonderful it would look if it hadn't been raining so much. Lots of places to sit in groups inside and outside. Could do with an extra shower, with 8 adults and 2 showers lots of queueing. We were surprised by the cleaning fee which is hidden in house rules, no mention was made of it when we booked. We would stay again as the location and presentation make it a great property. Love a fireplace and plenty of wood was provided.

We arrived to find the fire alight and warming the house nicely on a cold July day. It is quite large and the eleven of us (eight adults and three children) fitted in quite nicely. The kitchen is well equipped. The yard outside looked inviting, but it was too wet for us to take advantage. All in all, a great place for a family stay.

We booked Sherwood Park for our Book Club retreat. It was wonderful. We walked in to the fire burning and a cake with a bundle of supplies to enjoy. It was a sprawling home with plenty of room to spread out. Could have done with another shower. It was older style but everything was spotless. The area was quiet and we enjoyed walking round the neighbourhood. A lovely place to unwind.

I can highly recommend a stay at Sherwood Park. The house has plenty of space for a large group stay and is surrounded by beautiful gardens in a quiet street that is a short (7mins) drive to Bowral town centre.

Absolutely stunning and large property! Got ready with the bridesmaids for my wedding here and it was amazing! Olga was very easy to communicate with too, which really eased a lot of nerves! Highly recommend

I rented this house for 11 members of my family arriving for my son’s wedding and it was comfortable for everyone. The house is surrounded by a beautiful and well-maintained garden. It created a wonderful background to family photos. We did not have time to use two additional internal living areas but the main room was big enough for our group. The linen and towels were white and crispy. Plenty of toilet paper for our 4 nights stay. No access to garages but plenty of car park spaces outside. No Wi-Fi, but for our busy wedding weekend it was not essential. My family was happy.

Enjoyed every bit of the house from the cleanliness to the landscaped gardens and the delicious carrot cake on arrival. Amazing 6 bedroom home set in Sherwood Park peaceful and quiet. Would highly recommend. Thanks Olga!

As we drove in ,I knew immediately by the unkept garden beds the weeds and overgrown grass this was unloved house We choose this home because of its large garden most of the roses were dead and you couldn't go outside because of water logged grass which was knee high. NO Wi Fi ,no washing up utensils 3rolls of toilet paper in the house that we could find for 11 people!! we paid a lot for this and they knew my son was getting married and photos would be taken in the garden which was uninhabitable . We were so disappointed ,no access to garages , The little garbage bin was full ( 2 days after the collection date ,before we moved in)so we had nowhere to put our garbage except in big garbage bags next to the bin I have never written such a scathing review but for the money I spent , other people need to know And I would like to see this review on the Platform

It is a beautiful family home and surrounding. Very convinient to the town. We had a good time there.

Great weekender lots of space

Beautiful house that very much suited our family weekend away. Lovely little touches including fresh cake on arrival made us feel at home very quickly. Communication with Olga was always easy and timely - thank you Olga.

A very comfortable home in a quiet location. The beds and bedding were lovely and the showers hot! Lots of seating outdoors and a wonderful garden too. This property is only a few minutes outside the centre of Bowral. The plastic on the tables we found to be odd. We thought that placemats would be more appropriate. Overall, a highly recommended property.

We stayed here with a group and the house met all of our needs. The outdoor space was fabulous and despite the weather being off and on we were still able to enjoy the large covered outdoors the entire time. The gardens are beautiful and the location is private and quiet.

The property can accomodate 11 people very comfortably, 13 at a squeeze. It is a distance from town so a car is a necessity. We gathered for a family reunion and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly, feeling very much at home. Unfortunately there is only one oven which could cook a lamb roast for 8 but any more would be difficult. The kitchen was well presented and our host kindly left some essentials which was very much appreciated.

We had a warm and comfortable weekend with a welcoming fire already prepared! As a group of 8 mature adults we were disappointed that 2 of the single beds were better suited to children (one being a fold up bed) and think this should be in the description of the bedding arrangements as the photos do not give that impression.

We were in Bowral for a girls' weekend. What a wonderful house. We all got a room, the house was warm, well stocked with wood and perfect for sitting around, chatting and enjoying the grounds and gardens. Thank you! We would absolutely come back to use this house again! Olga was fantastic with communication too!
