Perfect set up for Stowe and skiing. Loved the property.

We had a wonderful time staying here. It was one of the nicest homes we have ever rented. Everything was tidy and easy to locate upon arrival. The kitchen and living space were incredible. A great place to relax but also very close to town.

This house was located minutes from downtown Stowe and was well equipped with everything needed to have a great time (extra towels, fully stocked kitchen). Host was very kind and responsive to our messages. We would definitely book this farmhouse again!

We had a wonderful stay with our family for Thanksgiving. The rooms and beds were comfortable, the roaring fire was stoked late into the evening and the hot tub kept everyone warm and toasty. Great setup, terrific host, gorgeous home. Thanks for making our holiday over the top excellent! The kitchen is terrific for cooking and has everything you need to make gourmet meals. Very close to town for last minute items and shopping.

Had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse. Looks just like the pictures. Great location/ property. Betsy was easy to communicate with. House has plenty of bedrooms and 3 full bathes which was nice as we were traveling with two other couples. House had plenty of extras too… paper towels, toilet paper, etc. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

The farmhouse was a fantastic home during vacation for our family and friends. The house was spacious, the kitchen was incredibly well stocked and the location was just beautiful. Besty was a very responsive and great host!

Wonderful house and location

This is hands down the BEST VRBO we’ve ever stayed at! We were in Stowe for our daughters wedding and this home was the perfect location for my family. Plenty of space for everyone to have a very comfortable sleep, large kitchen and tv area for us all to hang out together, beautiful piece of property with amazing views and a hot tub and a great location to get dinner or take a walk on the recreation trail. We will definitely keep this on our list of places to return to. Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to stay at the farmhouse!!

The farmhouse is a magical place. My family and I enjoyed our 2nd stay here just as much as the first.

Rented with the family 3 years ago, and came back for the slice of heaven again with some friends. The house is so close to everything, but privately situated on a dirt road abutting a farm. It is true to the listing. With 3 bathrooms and 6 beds, it can accommodate various group scenarios very well. The history of the house is appreciated, and adding a FR and beautiful wide open kitchen made the group time gathering perfect. We did spas, hikes, breweries, shopping, history tours, and restaurants. House and property is lovely.

The farmhouse was exceptional. Quiet location, close to Stowe skiing and town. Very clean well appointed. Everything you need is there. The garage was wonderful on the snowing days and nights. Hot tub is hot and relaxing. Beds were firm and comfortable. Communication with owners was prompt and helpful. I would definitely rent the farmhouse again!

Exceptionally comfortable, spacious, well maintained and centrally located property. This home was perfect for our family of four and hosting of another family for dinner one evening. The kitchen is huge with excellent, new appliances and proper cookware for anything you need. Though half of the home is a 19th century farmhouse, it's appointed with comfortable furniture, new bathrooms and is and well insulated with new windows. We didn't take advantage of the hot tub, but it looks like it is as or better than advertised. Altogether, this is a home that has been loved and maintained by its gracious owners. Worthy of six stars! We hope to return soon! Pro tip: Bring a Chromecast to make the TV "smart" and a portable speaker or two.

Farmhouse is a great location. Layout is great. Kitchen/Family room well laid out and large. View’s fantastic!!! Close to town and skiing. Kitchen was well appointed and very cook friendly. The large island allowed the cook and helper plenty of room and space for “contributors” to provide input. The fireplace was warm and inviting eliminating the need for TV most nights. The parlor was away from the central space allowing those that needed some quiet time a place to step away but still be connected. We will be back next year

This property was perfect for our family. Great property and very convenient to the slopes. Our boys loved the hot tub and the fire. Would highly recommend.

We had two families in town for a ski vacation. We loved our stay at the farmhouse. It is just the right amount of space and so comfortable and wonderful. The kitchen is well appointed. It was clean and all of the beds were so comfortable. The hot tub was perfect for after skiing and the views across the neighboring fields are amazing. The house is centrally located to both the slopes and the town of Stowe and not far from the Recreation path. My family and I can’t wait to visit again!

Beautifully renovated farmhouse close to Stowe Resort (12-15 min). Great house for a big family or friends. 5 bedrooms. The only down side is that 3 of the bedrooms is in the original farmhouse and 2 are upstairs up steep staircase. If you are going with kids between 10-14 they automatically in their heads assumed it was haunted so none wanted to sleep in the upstairs or downstairs bedroom lol. But once the adults cozied them up they were very nice and comfortable. I can understand why the kids are scared as there are little storage spaces everywhere so their young imaginations thought the worse. Overall great kitchen , jacuzzi was amazing , and beds were comfortable. Only thing I suggest to owners is to upgrade TV to a smart TV so we can log into our Netflix etc. Thank you again for sharing this home!

Our third Christmas staying at Betsy’s farmhouse was really nice. Quiet and peaceful setting, yet close to everything in Stowe. Betsy is a friendly, generous, accommodating and flexible host.

Excellent home with beautiful views of the mountains. Plenty of space for all with wonderful amenities. Hot tub was nice after a day of skiing. Kitchen well appointed. Plenty of beds. We will come back!

We stayed for Thanksgiving week and had a great time. There is plenty of room to spread out. Our favorite place was sitting in the living room in front of the large wood burning fireplace and enjoying the spectacular views. The kitchen was perfect for preparing a large meal and there was a formal dining space as well. The location is the best! You are close to everything, but still out of town.

The house was so charming and well-equipped for three couples. We enjoyed our own spaces for privacy and loved the communal areas for togetherness. The location was also perfect for restaurants and visiting tourist attractions such as Ben& Jerry's, the covered bridges, the Trapp Family Lodge, and the Cold Hollow Cider Mill. To add to the fun, we experienced lovely snowfall even though we stayed during "stick season." This is a perfect house for Stowe fun!

This is our 3rd year renting the Farmhouse and there are many reasons we continue coming back. Well located between downtown and the mountain. The fireplace and hot tub are terrific. Kitchen is perfect for gathering. Highly recommend.

This property has it all! The bedrooms and rooms are spaced out which makes it nice for staying with a large group. It was very well equipped and clean and has everything you need! The outdoor area is amazing too!!

Place was as pictured!!! Views from the house were beautiful!!! Not easy to find in dark would need a reflector to enter driveway. Big and spacious!! One tv in living room !!! Plenty of linens !! Very close to downtown !!! Recommend making reservations first to eat !!! Pieacacos is a great place to eat !!!Check in and out was easy. House is located on a quite road but a little busy but still quite. Great place to sit outside and look at the gorgeous sunrise and sunsets and read a book !!! No ice maker so bring ice only 2 ice trays but plenty of stuff to cook with. Regular coffee maker they had coffee sugar and coffee filters !!! Plenty of plates and utensils to eat with Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was a farmhouse they remodeled but kept it quaint inside. I would highly recommend staying here !!! Also I highly recommend doing the self guided covered bridges tour !!! The drive and scenery were breath taking !! Thank you so much Betsy for sharing your beautiful home with us !!

My family really loved our stay at Betsy's farmhouse. It's perfectly equipped, the beds are comfortable, we all enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night and soaking in the hot tub. And the setting in a quiet valley outside of Stowe was just unreal. Like a story book! I've had some great experiences with VRBO and stayed in some incredible homes but this might be the best yet. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience booking and staying at this property. The host, Betsy, was a pleasure to communicate with and provided house instructions and activity recommendations prior to our stay. The property itself was stunning and exactly as described in the listing. The location roughly halfway up the mountain and its proximity to the rec path made it very convenient to explore Mt. Mansfield, restaurants on the Mountain Road, and Stowe village. The views and sense of calm sitting outdoors at the property cannot be overstated! The house was very tidy, well appointed, and all appliances & fixtures worked; we were very comfortable and did not find anything lacking. Internet service at the home was adequate for working/video conferencing. We loved everything about staying at this property and look forward to returning next year.

Fabulous place.

We really enjoyed our stay in Stowe. The house was conveniently located near town, but far enough outside to be very quiet. As architects, we loved seeing the photo book that the owners had detailing their remodel project several years back. They did a lovely job restoring a historic home.

The farmhouse is a wonderful place to enjoy Stowe. The location is fantastic - quiet yet easily accessible to the village and recreation path. The views from the house are terrific. The accommodations are very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and nice living spaces. I was concerned that no AC on hot days would be uncomfortable, but the house stays cool with all the fans provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
